A sleeve-component extracting jig according to the present invention is configured to include an engagement part on which a thread engageable with an inner circumferential surface of a sleeve component is formed, wherein a taper surface configured by cutting off crests of the thread to lower a height of the thread toward a leading end of the engagement part, and a plurality of clearance grooves open at the leading end of the engagement part and arranged at equal angular intervals in a circumferential direction of the engagement part are formed in the engagement part, a length of a radius of the engagement part at an end position of the taper surface is a sum of a length obtained by multiplying a thickness of the sleeve component by a digging ratio (20%&#x2dc;60%) and a length of an inside radius of the inner circumferential surface of the sleeve component.

Sleeve-component extracting jig

A solid electrolyte layer or body capable of being co-fired with an insulating ceramic substrate or body to be used as a gas sensor laminate. The gas sensor laminate is preferably composed of an alumina substrate () and an oxygen-ion conductive solid electrolyte layer () bonded to the alumina substrate () by firing. The oxygen-ion conductive solid electrolyte layer or body is formed from partially or wholly stabilized zirconia, which layer contains alumina in an amount of 10% to 80% by weight, particularly 30% to 75% by weight. In this manner, another ceramic layer; particularly, a ceramic layer () of alumina can further be bonded to the oxygen-ion conductive solid electrolyte layer. The relative density of the ceramic layer can be 60% to 99.5%, preferably 80% to 99.5%.

Solid electrolyte containing insulating grains for gas sensor

A solid electrolyte layer or body capable of being co-fired with an insulating ceramic substrate or body to be used as a gas sensor laminate. The gas sensor laminate is preferably composed of an alumina substrate ( ) and an oxygen-ion conductive solid electrolyte layer ( ) bonded to the alumina substrate ( ) by firing. Solid electrolyte containing insulating ceramic grains for gas sensor

A cutter body for counter sink drilling fiber reinforced plastic materials, such cutter body having a pilot portion at a distal end of the cutter body and a countersinking section formed adjacent to the pilot portion in a region on the base end side of the cutter body. The countersinking section comprises three unit machining sections disposed with equal angular intervals in the circumferential direction of the cutter body. Each unit machining section comprises an abrasive layer formed by electrodepositing diamond abrasive grains on a conical surface in turn provided on the cutter body with a chip discharge groove and a finishing edge overhanging from the abrasive layer by an amount t and disposed in order successively rearward in the direction of rotation of a drill or cutter. The finishing edge is formed on a hard sinter, which contains diamond grains as a main ingredient, on a laminar sinter.

Counter sink drill

An air/fuel ratio sensor is described, comprising an oxygen concentration electrochemical cell and an oxygen pump disposed in a face-to-face relationship with a gap being formed therebetween, the side of said electrochemical cell opposite the side facing said oxygen pump being in contact with the atmosphere, said gap forming a gas diffusion compartment that communicates with a gas to be analyzed by a gas diffusion limiting means, wherein the gap existing between said oxygen concentration electrochemical cell and said oxygen pump has a width of no more than 0.2 mm and no less than 0.01 mm.

Method of making air/fuel ratio sensor

A high performance drill bit is presented for precision drilling of holes in hard-to-drill materials, such as a carbon fiber reinforced plastic material. The drill is a gun drill type having a pair of flat flutes and a pair of air holes for delivering coolant and/or lubricant. The main feature of the drill is the provision of two pairs of cutting edges formed on the intersecting ridges formed at the leading sides of the flank surfaces with the flute surfaces. At the tip of the drill bit, a pair of primary cutting edges, having a point angle .alpha., is disposed. It is followed by another pair of secondary cutting edges, having a point angle .beta., where .alpha.&gt;.beta.. Physically, this means that the secondary cutting edges are inclined more toward the drill axis than the primary cutting edges. The secondary cutting edge is followed further by another flank surfaces which are even more inclined toward the drill axis.

Air/fuel ratio sensor

As a solid electrolyte suitable for use in oxygen sensors a partially stabilized zirconia, which essentially consists of 4.5-6.0 mol % of Y.sub.2 O.sub.3 and the balance of ZrO.sub.2 and is constituted of tetragonal and cubic crystals, is produced by using a coprecipitated powder of a solid solution of ZrO.sub.2 and Y.sub.2 O.sub.3 as the raw material and performing sintering of a green body at a temperature not higher than 1500.degree. C. The ZrO.sub.2 -Y.sub.2 O.sub.3 powder has a mean particle size not larger than 1 .mu.m and a specific surface area in the range from 2.5 to 7 m.sup.2 /g and is required to be not more than 0.2 wt % in the content of unwanted SiO.sub.2 so that the sintered solid electrolyte may be as low as possible in the content of SiO.sub.2. The obtained solid electrolyte has good mechanical properties and exhibits sufficiently high withstand voltage.
