An optical measuring device comprises: a lens to form an image with reflected light from a measuring object; an image sensor to receive the reflected light that has passed through the lens and generate an image representing the measuring object; a driver to drive a drive object, the drive object being at least one of the lens and the image sensor; and a controller to control the optical measuring device. The controller acquires, from the image sensor, a plurality of images generated by the image sensor successively imaging the measuring object while the driver is driving the drive object in accordance with a predetermined driving pattern, and outputs the plurality of images.

A difference between a peak reflectance of a first wavelength component and a reflectance of a second wavelength component having a predetermined wavelength among reflectances of a plurality of wavelength components constituting reflected light in a highlight direction from a glitter material-containing coating film is set as a first difference value. Reflectance is measured of the first and second wavelength components of the reflected light in the highlight direction for the coating film corresponding to a measurement object. A first difference value is calculated by using the measurement result. A storage stores in advance correlation information indicating a correlation between the first difference value and an index value indicating predetermined physical characteristics of a glitter material contained in the coating film. An index value calculator calculates the index value of the coating film corresponding to the measurement object by using the correlation information and the first difference value calculated in the first calculator.

Colorimeter includes an illumination light reception unit, an attached part, a detection unit, a recognition unit, a color measurement control unit, and an output unit. To the attached part, a mask member is attached to cover the illumination light reception unit. The detection unit detects parts disposed on the mask member. The recognition unit recognizes information on the kind of the mask member in accordance with a detection result by the detection unit. The color measurement control unit causes the recognition unit to recognize information on the kind of mask member in accordance with the detection result at a first timing, and on the kind of mask member in accordance with the detection result at a second timing. The output unit performs a predetermined output in response to a discordance between the information on the kind of mask member at the first timing and at the second timing.

In a photometric system, a photosensor-equipped unit includes a transmission information holding portion that holds transmission information relating to a screen display direction of a display portion with a content suitable for a photosensor. When the photosensor-equipped unit is connected to a display processing terminal device, the photosensor-equipped unit can transmit the transmission information to the display processing terminal device. The display processing terminal device includes a screen display control portion that executes a display direction setting process during connection for setting a screen display direction of the display portion based upon the transmission information.

A display device includes a storage storing a plurality of rules including first and second rules, a designator that designates one rule of the plurality of rules, and a controller that causes a screen to transition from one screen to another screen in accordance with the one rule. In a multi-angle colorimeter, a light detecting portionincludes a main light receiving window disposed in a predetermined position on a main geometry plane, and first and second auxiliary light receiving windows disposed on a secondary geometry plane, and a main photoelectric conversion element for converting a main component light received by the main light receiving window in a light reflected from a measurement point into an electrical main signal and first and second auxiliary photoelectric conversion elements for converting first and second auxiliary component lights received by the first and second auxiliary light receiving windows in the reflected light respectively into first and second electrical auxiliary signals. A calculating portion corrects the electrical main signal based on the first and second electrical auxiliary signals to obtain color information about the measurement point.

A photometric apparatus includes a photosensor portion that receives light and performs a measuring operation for acquiring predetermined photometric data relating to the received light, a tilt sensor portion that detects a tilt angle with respect to a predetermined reference plane, and a measurement control portion that determines a tilt state of the photosensor portion based upon the tilt angle, and executes a measurement control process for specifying the photometric data acquired by the photosensor portion as effective photometric data, when the tilt state satisfies a predetermined condition.

Photometric apparatus and measurement control program

A multi-angle colorimeter employs a multi-angle mode and a symmetrical arrangement mode in an optical arrangement. Light detection on both sides of the symmetrical arrangement is performed by a single photodetector unit. The photodetector unit is used on both sides, and thus, the device becomes simpler, without any impact on individual difference in characteristics of multiple photodetector units. Conversely, elements for illumination can be used on both sides. Also in a case where multiple photodetector units are used, the size and cost of the device can be reduced with the use of a photodetector unit having a relatively low wavelength resolution as a photodetector unit to be used on one side. This enables to reduce an attitude error due to relative tilting of a measurement surface while reducing the size and cost of the device.
