A vehicle headlight () includes: a first light emitting optical system (LE) that emits first light (L); a second light emitting optical system (LE) that emits second light (L); a projection lens (); and a beam shaper (), in which the beam shaper () includes a main member () and a reinforcing member () overlapping the main member (), the main member () includes a base portion () having a part that includes a front end of the main member () and does not overlap the reinforcing member () and a part that overlaps the reinforcing member () and to which the reinforcing member () is fixed, and an upper surface of the base portion () reflects a part of the first light (L) toward the projection lens () in such a way as to form a cutoff line (CL) of a low beam light distribution pattern (PL).

Vehicle headlight

A light unit is configured in such a manner that a light guide is placed between a light source and a projection lens, and includes a first exit surface for emitting light for a low-beam light distribution pattern and a second exit surface for emitting light for an additional light distribution pattern that is added to form a high-beam light distribution pattern. The light guide is configured to be provided with a mirror surface portion on a connection surface extending toward the back of the unit from a lower edge of the first exit surface to an upper edge of the second exit surface. As a result, light from a light-emitting element that has been emitted through the second exit surface and reached the connection surface is reflected by the mirror surface portion to be used as the light for forming the additional light distribution pattern.

Lamp unit

A lamp includes a plurality of light sources arranged in parallel, a projection lens through which light emitted from the plurality of light sources is transmitted, and a first inter-light source reflector and a second inter-light source reflector which are disposed so as to sandwich a line connecting the light sources adjacent to each other and which are configured to reflect a part of the light emitted from the light sources toward the projection lens.

Vehicle lamp

Provided is a vehicular headlamp which is capable of enhancing visibility while suppressing glare by forming a dark portion in a portion of a light distribution pattern and suppressing the vicinity of the formed dark portion from becoming a blue series color. The vehicular headlamp includes a light-emitting element, a projection lens, a reflector, a beam shaper, a first shaper disposed between the light-emitting element and a cut-off line forming portion and configured to shield a part of the light reflected from the reflector to form a dark portion in a portion of a low beam light distribution pattern, and a second shaper portion disposed between the cut-off line forming portion and the projection lens and configured to shield a part of the light incident to the lower side of an optical axis of the projection lens.

Vehicular headlamp

A vehicular lamp is provided with a light source and a projector lens. An incidence plane of the projector lens includes a first light distribution control surface configured to form a first light distribution pattern and a second light distribution control surface configured to form a second light distribution pattern which is formed above the first light distribution pattern.
