A liquid crystal panel includes two substrates, an outer light-shielding portion, an inner light-shielding portion, and spacers. The substrates are bonded to each other. The outer light-shielding portion is disposed outer than an outer periphery of area display area in which an image is displayed between the substrates. The inner light-shielding portion is disposed inner than an inner periphery of the display area between the substrates. The spacers are disposed between the substrates. The spacers include outer spacers and at least one inner spacer. The outer spacers are disposed to overlap the outer light-shielding portion. The at least one inner spacer is disposed to overlap the inner light-shielding portion.

Display device

A liquid crystal panel includes an array substrate, a CF substrate, a sealing member, a first transparent electrode film, a first interlayer insulating film, and a second transparent electrode film. The sealing member is disposed between the array substrate and the CF substrate to seal internal space between the substrates. The first electrode film is disposed in a display area on the array substrate. The sealing member is bonded to the first interlayer insulating film. The first insulating film is disposed on the first electrode film closer to the array substrate in an area across a boundary between the display area and a non-display area. The first insulating film includes a slit arranged closer to the display area than to the sealing member in the non-display area. The second transparent electrode film is disposed on the first insulating film closer to the array substrate at least in the display area.

A liquid crystal display panel () includes a TFT substrate (), a CF substrate () facing the TFT substrate (), a frame region around a display region (D), and a sealing material () in the frame region. The frame region includes a wide frame region (F) adjacent to a terminal region (T), and a narrow frame region (F) having a smaller width than the wide frame region (F). A dummy structure () overlapping the sealing material () as viewed from above is in the CF substrate () in the wide frame region (F).
