A current measurement system is configured to measure an alternating-current (AC) current flowing through a conductor. The AC current has a frequency within a measurement range. The system includes a current sensor and a shunt resistor. The current sensor includes a measurement coil configured to be magnetically coupled to the conductor. The shunt resistor has both ends electrically connected to both ends of the measurement coil, respectively. An output voltage across the both ends of the shunt resistor is saturated at a saturation point in a saturation frequency of the frequency of the AC current. An upper limit value of the measurement range including the frequency is higher than a fundamental frequency of the AC current. The saturation frequency is higher than or equal to the upper limit value. The current measurement system improves sensitivity to frequency components higher than the fundamental frequency of the AC current.

Electrical current measurement system, and diagnostic system

A current sensor is configured to detect a current flowing through an electrical conductor. The current sensor includes a core and a coil wound around the core. The core has a hollow therein configured to allow the electrical conductor to pass through the hollow. The core substantially has a C-shape having a gap connected to the hollow. The core has a pair of end surfaces facing each other in a facing direction across the gap. The core includes plural split cores joined to one another. Each pair of split cores of the plural split cores adjacent to each other have respective joining surfaces joined to each other. The respective joining surfaces of the each pair of split cores being parallel to the facing direction. This current sensor has a desired sensitivity characteristic.

Current sensor

A current sensor is configured to detect a current flowing through an electrical conductor. The current sensor includes a core and a coil wound around the core. The core has a hollow configure to allow the electrical conductor to pass through the hollow. The core substantially has a C-shape haying a gap connected to the hollow. At least a part of the gap of the core is located inside the coil. This current sensor suppresses the influence of external noise.

Provided is a spiral wound gasket that has improved conformability and that is capable of exhibiting sufficient sealability for flanges provided at joints, irrespective of the state of a gap between the flanges. The present invention provides a spiral wound gasket in which a laminate of a hoop member made of metal and a filler member is wound and integrated so as to have an opening at the center, where a bending angle constituting the bent portion is &#x3b1; (&#xb0;), and a radius of curvature of the bent portion is r (mm).

Provided is a spiral wound gasket that makes it less likely that gaps that are in communication with each other in a spiral shape will remain between layers of a filler member exposed at a gasket face in a state before the gasket is clamped and that is capable of exhibiting sufficient sealability for flanges provided at pipe joints. The present invention provides a spiral wound gasket in which a laminate of a hoop member made of metal and a filler member is wound around an opening and integrated, and which has gasket faces at respective end portions, wherein, at each of the gasket faces, an end portion of the filler member protrudes past an end portion of the hoop member, and the gasket faces have a surface roughness Rof 30 &#x3bc;m to 200 &#x3bc;m.

A gasket in which a high sealing property can be ensured, and a method of producing such a gasket are provided. A gasketis produced by spirally winding a belt-like composite bodyhaving a metal mesh memberand expanded graphiteenveloped by the metal mesh member, and then compression molding the composite body into a tubular shape. The gasket includes a first sealing portionplaced in one axial end portion, and a second sealing portionplaced in the other axial end portion. The gasket has a sectional shape in which the composite body that is in a bent state overlaps in a radial direction. The composite body includes a bent portion which is radially bent in an acute angle shape.

Gasket and method of producing gasket
