There is provided a head-up display device including an indicator that emits display light, a concave mirror that is rotatable about a rotation shaft and reflects the display light from the indicator to project a display image, a motor that has a shaft portion disposed coaxially with the rotation shaft of the concave mirror and rotates the shaft portion about an axis when energized, a connecting member that connects the shaft portion of the motor and the rotation shaft of the concave mirror and rotates the concave mirror at the same rotation angle as a rotation angle of the rotation shaft, and a control board that controls the motor. The control board controls rotation of the motor by half-step drive or micro-step drive.

Head-up display device

A vehicle display device includes a display that emits a display image to be projected onto a windshield provided to a vehicle, as display light, at least one reflecting mirror that is disposed on an optical path of the display light from the display to the windshield and reflects the display light, an optical sensor that detects external light (SL) incident from an opening through which an outside and an internal space are communicated with each other, a temperature sensor that detects a temperature of the display, a dimming member that is disposed on the optical path of the display light, and a controller that causes the dimming member to be switched between a state with a first transmissivity and a state with a second transmissivity smaller than the first transmissivity.

Vehicle display device

A mirror device includes: a mirror having a rotation shaft and a reflecting surface that reflects display light; a support portion having a cylindrical shape, having a base end fixed and a tip end being a free end, and configured to rotatably support the rotation shaft; and a motor that pivots the mirror, in which the rotation shaft is inserted into the support portion while spreading the support portion outward in a radial direction, and is slidably supported by the support portion.

Mirror device

A mirror device includes: a mirror including a rotation shaft pivotably supported, a coupling shaft separated from the rotation shaft, and a reflecting surface that reflects display light; a coupling member including a first coupling portion coupled to the rotation shaft and a second coupling portion coupled to the coupling shaft, and configured to pivot integrally with the mirror; a motor that is connected to the coupling member via a gear and that pivots the coupling member; and a first spring having one end side immovably fixed and another end side coupled to the coupling member, and configured to apply force to the coupling member in one rotation direction.

A mirror device includes: a mirror including a rotation shaft; a gear unit having gear teeth and coupled to the rotation shaft; a worm that meshes with the gear teeth; a holding member that supports the worm; a motor configured to rotationally drive the rotation shaft via the worm and the gear teeth; and a stopper mechanism () that has a rotating member disposed coaxially with the worm, and restricts a rotation range of the worm, in which the stopper mechanism includes: a first contact portion that is provided on the rotating member and comes in contact with the worm to receive force in the rotation direction from the worm; and a second contact portion that is provided on the rotating member and is locked by the holding member, the stopper mechanism being configured to allow the worm to rotate relative to the holding member by more than one rotation.

A vehicle display device includes a display device, a reflecting mirror, an optical sensor configured to detect external light, and a controller configured to enable execution of a temperature lowering operation. The display device includes a light transmissive liquid crystal display unit disposed on an optical path of light emitted from a light source and a first optical member disposed between the liquid crystal display unit and the light source and configured to change an optical path of light that enters the first optical member from the light source and passes therethrough toward the liquid crystal display unit. The optical sensor is disposed on an optical path of the external light incident on the display device at a side opposite to the liquid crystal display unit across the first optical member. The first optical member includes a passage on an optical path through which the external light passes.

A vehicle display device includes a display that emits a display image projected on a windshield provided outside as display light, two reflective mirrors that are disposed on a light path of the display light from the display to the windshield and reflect the display light, an optical sensor that detects the external light entering from an opening communicating between the outside and an internal space, and a controller configured to execute temperature decreasing operation of the display for decreasing a temperature thereof when the optical sensor detects the external light. The optical sensor is disposed at a position to which external light directed toward the display via the reflective mirror is reflected by the display to be directed.
