With respect to a failure in voltage sensors each for detecting a high-voltage-side voltage in a DC/DC converter, it is so arranged that a circuit failure of the DC/DC converter is prevented, and that the DC/DC converter is continuingly controlled. Two voltage sensors are included therein each for detecting a high-voltage-side voltage, so that, even when a first voltage sensor for detecting a high-voltage-side voltage on one side fails to work properly, a control device turns on a second switching device, and detects a voltage by a second voltage sensor for detecting the high-voltage-side voltage on the other side, whereby a failure of the voltage sensor for detecting the high-voltage-side voltage is detected.

DC/DC converter control device

A power conversion device including an intermediate capacitor that carries out a charging and discharging operation and a voltage sensor that detects a voltage of the intermediate capacitor, and including a current sensor that detects a current flowing in a reactor, and an abnormality determining unit that determines that there is an abnormality of the voltage sensor using a current value calculated based on a detected value from the current sensor, wherein a gain error, an offset error, and a sticking error of the voltage sensor can be detected.

A power conversion device including: a reactor formed such that a DC winding and a plurality of coupled windings are wound around one magnetic body, one end of the DC winding is connected to a voltage source, one end of each of the plurality of coupled windings is connected to another end of the DC winding, another end of each of the plurality of coupled windings is connected to each intermediate connection point between a plurality of upper and lower arms composed of switching elements, and a control device for controlling the switching elements, wherein switching of the upper arms or the lower arms is controlled in accordance with a magnitude of a duty of the switching operation and a magnitude relationship between DC current ripple and AC current ripple composing current ripple in the coupled windings.

A first winding, a second winding, a fourth winding, and a fifth winding functioning as a transformer are wound around respective side legs of a three-leg core. Third windings functioning as a DC reactor are wound around a center leg. Winding directions of the first winding, the second winding, and the third windings are set so that magnetic fluxes generated by DC currents flowing through the respective windings merge in the same direction at the center leg, and winding directions of the fourth winding and the fifth winding are set so that magnetic fluxes generated by AC currents flowing through the respective windings cancel each other at the center leg. Thus, the transformer and the DC reactor are integrated using the three-leg core, whereby size reduction and loss reduction of the integrated magnetic component are achieved.

Resonant LLC converter with a multi-leg transformer with gapped center leg

In a power conversion apparatus including first to fourth semiconductor switching elements connected in series across both terminals of a high voltage-side capacitor, the third and fourth semiconductor switching elements are connected across both terminals of a low voltage-side capacitor via a reactor, and both terminals of the second and third semiconductor switching elements are connected across a charging-discharging capacitor. This charging-discharging capacitor includes a plurality of capacitor elements connected in parallel via a first wiring and a second wiring. Inductance components or capacitance components of the plurality of capacitor elements when viewed from an outflow-inflow portion of the first wiring and an outflow-inflow portion of the second wiring are different from each other such that the charging-discharging capacitor does not have a parallel resonance point in a driving frequency band but has a parallel resonance point in a noise frequency band.

Power conversion apparatus

A power conversion device includes switching elements, a reactor, and capacitors in each of which plural capacitor elements are connected in parallel to each other. Then, a carrier frequency used for controlling switching of the switching elements is set so that it is less than series resonance frequencies of all of the capacitor elements in the capacitors, and integer multiples of that frequency are each not equal to a parallel resonance frequency.

Power conversion device for performing power conversion between DC and DC by controlling switching of a semiconductor switching element

In this DC/DC converter, a first controller calculates a first operation value on the basis of a difference between output voltage Vout and a first calculated value calculated on the basis of a detection value of voltage of the charge/discharge capacitor. A second controller calculates a second operation value on the basis of a difference between a charge/discharge capacitor voltage target value Vcf* and charge/discharge capacitor voltage Vcf. In control blocks, addition and subtraction of the first and second operation values are performed, and the conduction rates for switching elements are controlled, to control the output voltage and a charge/discharge capacitor voltage, thereby preventing application of overvoltage to the switching elements.

An object of this invention is to obtain a control apparatus and a control method for a DC/DC converter, with which a DC/DC converter can be controlled with superior stability and responsiveness while reducing the size of a storage medium. A calculation value is calculated in accordance with a specific control method using a differential voltage between a target output voltage and an output voltage, whereupon a control calculation value is calculated from the calculation value and an input voltage.

Control apparatus and control method for DC/DC converter capable of bidirectional power transfer

A DC/DC converter in which a both-end voltage of each of capacitors can be safely uniformalized while an over current, which is passed through between the capacitors composing the DC/DC converter, is prevented. In a DC/DC converter which includes a plurality of switching elements, a reactor, a low-voltage side capacitor, a high-voltage side capacitor, a charge-discharge capacitor, and a controller which drives and controls the switching elements, the controller performs soft start control in which a duty ratio of at least one of the switching elements is gradually varied from 0% to 100%, and the switching element, in which the soft start control is not performed during the term of the soft start control, is turned off.
