Plug connector

A shell assembly includes a shell including a depression and a flange, which go around a circumference of the shell, and the shell assemblies are arranged in N rows×M columns and fixed to a housing. The housing includes: N×M pieces of insertion holes into which respective ends of the shell assemblies are inserted; an engagement portion that is formed on an inner surface of each of the insertion holes on a position, which is closer to an obliquely-adjacent insertion hole of the insertion holes, and is engaged with the depression; and a slit that is formed by cutting the housing in a direction orthogonal to an extension direction of the insertion holes and includes a first groove and a second groove formed on an inner surface thereof.

Multiple coaxial connector

A plug includes a housing, a plurality of plug shells that are accommodated in the housing in a manner to protrude from the housing by a predetermined length A, a plurality of plug bodies that are accommodated in the plug shells respectively, and a plurality of plug contacts that are fixed to the plug bodies respectively. A receptacle includes a receptacle shell, a receptacle body, and a receptacle contact. The receptacle shell includes: an accommodation portion that entirely accommodates ends of the plurality of plug shells protruding from the housing, and whose insertion-direction length B satisfies B<A.

A ground terminal including a first ring of a C-shape or a ring shape and contact springs. The contact springs extend from the first ring in a first direction and are spaced from each other in a circumferential direction of the first ring. Each contact spring curves or bends such as to project to an inner side in a corresponding one of second directions. The first direction is an axial direction of the first ring. The second directions are substantially orthogonal to the first direction. The inner side in each second direction is a side nearer an axial center of the first ring. Each contact spring includes a first end portion on a side nearer the first ring, and a wide portion including at least an apex portion of the contact spring and having a width dimension that is larger than a width dimension of the first end portion.

Ground terminal and connector including the same

A connector includes a body and a contact that is inserted into the body. The contact includes a protruding part that is protruded in a direction orthogonal to an insertion direction of the contact, a protrusion that is provided on an outer periphery of the contact, and an overhanging part that overhangs in the direction orthogonal to the insertion direction. The body includes, on an inner surface thereof, a guide groove that is fitted with the protruding part and is extended in the insertion direction, a housing part that has an internal dimension for press-fitting the contact, which includes the protrusion, thereto, and a press-fitting part that has an internal dimension for press-fitting the contact, which includes the overhanging part, thereto. An insertion distance A of the protruding part, an insertion distance B of the protrusion, and an insertion distance C of the overhanging part satisfy a relation A&#x3e;B&#x3e;C.

Connector

A connector including a shield case, a body housed in the shield case, at least one terminal held by the body, and a shield cover. The shield case includes a tube extending in a first direction and a pair of walls. The walls are located on one side in the first direction relative to the tube, face each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and extend to one side in a third direction. The third direction crosses the first and second directions. The body includes a first portion in the tube, and a second portion. The first portion includes a basal portion, which includes an exposed portion exposed to one side in the third direction between the walls. The second portion extends between the walls from the basal portion. The shield cover includes a cover portion disposed between the walls to cover at least part of the exposed portion.

A waterproof connector has a cable in which metal terminals are connected to the tip end, a housing that houses the metal terminals and a part of the cable, a packing in which a cable through hole that is passed to the front and rear sides is disposed, which is incorporated in the housing in a state where the packing is passed over the cable, and which ensures a watertightness between the cable and the housing, and a stopper in which a cable through hole that is passed to the front and rear sides is disposed, which is incorporated in the housing on a side of the packing opposite to the side of the metal terminals, in a state where the stopper is passed over the cable, and which holds the packing to the housing in a slipping-off preventing state.

Waterproof connector

A female connector includes a main body, a base, and a lock arm. The main body includes a connection hole for receiving a male connector, and a slot communicating with the hole. The base is located on the removing direction side relative to the slot. The lock arm includes a first arm with a free end, extending in the receiving direction from the base inside the slot, a middle portion extending from the free end away from the hole, a second arm spaced from the first arm, extending from the middle portion in the removing direction, and a lock projection extending from the free end into the hole for fitting in a lock hole of the male connector or abutting a protrusion of the male connector from the removing direction side. At least the first and second arms and the middle portion can be compressed between the base, and an edge of the lock hole or the protrusion as applying load on the projection.

A connector has a shielding structure configured by: a shield shell, which has in the front end a tubular shielding portion that surrounds, accommodates, and fixes a resin housing, in the rear end, a barrel portion that crimps and fixes a sheath of a cable, and, between the shielding portion and the barrel portion, an opening portion that is upwardly opened; and a shield cover, which is attached from the upper side to the opening portion of the shield shell. Stoppers that limit rearward movement of the resin housing by causing a plate surface to be butted against a rear end surface of the resin housing that is fixed at the normal position in the shielding portion are disposed in the shield cover.
