Provided is a composition that imparts an excellent flexibility to post-treatment fibers and textiles, provides a water-absorptive fiber surface and provides an excellent durability, and can maintain the water absorbency of the fiber surface even after a laundry treatment. Also provided is a fiber treatment agent that contains said composition as an effective component. The composition contains the following component (A) and component (B) wherein the content ratio on a mass basis represented by component (A)/[component (A)+component (B)] is 0.01-1. Component (A) is an organopolysiloxane represented by general formula (1) or a silane represented by general formula (2), and component (B) is water.

Composition, fiber treatment agent, fiber treatment method, and treated fiber

This gel-form composition contains (A) an organoalkoxysilane of the following formula and/or a partially hydrolyzed condensate of the organoalkoxysilane, RSi(OR)(Rand Rare monovalent hydrocarbon groups, and a is 1, 2, or 3), (B) an aluminum dicarboxylate of the following formula (RCOO)Al(OH) (Ris a monovalent hydrocarbon group), (C) a C6-24 fatty acid, (D) a C6-30 dicarboxylic acid, and (E) an aluminum oligomer and/or aluminum alkoxide selected from aluminum oxide organoxides and aluminum oxide acylates. Provided is a silicone composition having high curability even under low-temperature treatment conditions, and exceptional storage stability, the silicone composition being capable of imparting excellent flexibility to fibers as a fiber treatment agent, and also having exceptional washing durability; specifically, a silicone composition containing (A) 70-98 parts by mass of organopolysiloxane having a group represented by formula (1) at the end of the molecule or in a side chain (in the formula, Ris a C1-8 divalent hydrocarbon group, a is an integer of 0-4, Rare each independently a hydrogen atom, C1-10 monovalent hydrocarbon group, or acyl group, and at least one group shown by Ris hydrogen) and (B) 2-30 parts by mass of blocked polyisocyanate having two or more isocyanate groups per molecule, 50% or more of these isocyanate groups being blocked by a thermally dissociable blocking agent.

Silicone composition, silicone emulsion composition, and fiber treatment agent

A blocked polyisocyanate-containing curable silicone composition includes an amino group-containing organopolysiloxane, a blocked polyisocyanate and a catalyst which is an organic base compound and/or a metal compound. The composition has a high curability even under low-temperature conditions and, when used as a textile treatment, imparts textile fibers and products with good softness and water absorbency, and also has an excellent durability to washing.
