A rebar tying tool ties together two or more rebars using a wire. The rebar tying tool may include: a reel comprising the wire wound on a bobbin; a reel-holding part configured to hold the reel in a rotatable manner; a feed part configured to advance the wire from the reel by a number of turns of the wire around the rebars; and a twisting part configured to twist the wire after the number of turns of the wire has been wound around the rebars. The wire preferably has a maximum tensile load of at least 700 N. Preferably, the wire after the number of turns of the wire has been wound around the rebars has an overall maximum tensile load of at least 1,050 N, which is calculated by multiplying the maximum tensile load of the wire by the number of turns of the wire around the rebars.

A rebar tying tool may include a holder, a stopper, a driving roller, and a driven roller. The stopper may be configured to switch between a prohibiting state in which the stopper prohibits a reel from detaching from the holder and an allowing state in which the stopper allows the reel to detach from the holder. The driving roller may be configured to rotate. The driven roller may be configured to switch between a clamped state and a non-clamped state, the wire may be clamped between the driving roller and the driven roller when the driven roller is in the clamped state, and the wire may not be clamped between the driving roller and the driven roller when the driven roller is in the non-clamped state. The driven roller may be in the non-clamped state at all times while the stopper is in the allowing state.

A rebar tying tool may include a twisting mechanism, a body, a grip, and a control board. The twisting mechanism may include a twisting motor and a holder configured to twist a wire around rebus by operation of the twisting motor. The body may house the twisting mechanism. The grip may be disposed below the body and configured to be gripped by an operator. The control board may be configured to control the operation of the twisting motor. The control board may be disposed below a connection between the grip and the body.

The disclosure herein discloses a rebar tying machine. The rebar tying machine may include a feed motor, a current sensor configured to detect a current flowing through the feed motor, and a control unit configured to control an operation of the feed motor. The rebar tying machine may be configured to perform: a feeding-out process in which a wire is fed out around rebars by driving the feed motor, a gripping process in which a vicinity of a tip of the wire is gripped, a pulling-back process in which the wire is pulled back by driving the feed motor, a cutting process in which the wire is cut, and a twisting process in which the wire is twisted. The control unit may be configured to determine a diameter of the rebars based on a history of a current value flowing through the feed motor in the pulling-back process.

Rebar tying machine

A rebar tying machine may be configured to perform: a winding process in which a wire is fed around rebars, a vicinity of a distal end of the wire is grasped, the wire is pulled back, and the wire is cut; and a twisting process in which the wire is twisted. When instructed to tie the rebars by a user, the rebar tying machine may be configured capable of performing a multiple-winding tying operation in which the twisting process is performed after the winding process has been performed multiple times.
