A method for producing a resin frame equipped membrane electrode assembly includes: a first conveyance step of supporting a sheet-shaped member having a cathode and an electrolyte membrane by a resin frame member to which the sheet-shaped member is joined and linearly conveying the supported sheet-shaped member to a pressure bonding device; a second conveyance step of conveying an anode to the pressure bonding device by way of a rotary table; and a pressure bonding step of heating and pressing the cathode and the anode from above and below by the pressure bonding device to thereby integrate the cathode and the anode together.

Method for producing resin frame equipped membrane electrode assembly

The manufacturing method for the fuel cell unit includes a stacking step and a laser irradiation step. In the stacking step, a stacked portion including, stacked together, a resin frame member of a resin frame equipped membrane electrode assembly and an outer peripheral portion of a separator is placed on a metal spacer. The resin frame member at a joining target portion of the stacked portion is placed so as to face a recess of the metal spacer. In the laser irradiation step, the separator at the joining target portion in a state where the resin frame member faces the recess is irradiated with a laser beam to thereby form a welded portion where the resin frame member and the separator are welded to each other.

In a method of producing a resin frame member for a fuel cell, a processing die is used. The method includes a processing step of moving an upper die toward a lower die to thereby form an inclined surface on each of side parts of a resin film. In the processing step, shearing is performed while maintaining a predetermined clearance between the lower processing section and the upper processing section and in a state where each of the side parts is at least partially positioned at a cutout so that each of the side parts is inclined downward toward the inside. The cutout is formed by cutting off an edge part of a placement surface that is positioned on the lower processing section side.

Electrode sheet manufacturing method and electrode sheet manufacturing apparatus

A manufacturing apparatus for a fuel cell member includes a positioning device for positioning a resin frame equipped membrane electrode assembly and a separator member. This positioning device includes a base and positioning pins which are inserted into positioning holes formed in the resin frame equipped membrane electrode assembly and the separator member. Lifting members are provided around the positioning pins. The lifting member is lifted and lowered by a lifting mechanism.

A resin frame member is produced by using a method of producing a resin frame member for a fuel cell. An inner peripheral end of the resin frame member includes an inclined surface formed over the entire periphery thereof. The inclined surface is inclined inward from one surface of the resin frame member toward the other surface of the resin frame member. The width of the inclined surface is gradually reduced from the center toward both ends of each side part of the inner peripheral end in a direction in which the side part of the inner peripheral end extends.
