An in-cell type liquid crystal panel is disclosed including an in-cell type liquid crystal cell provided with a liquid crystal layer, a first transparent substrate and a second transparent substrate sandwiching the liquid crystal layer, and a touch sensing electrode unit related to a touch sensor and a touch-driven function between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer attached polarizing film disposed, via a first adhesive layer and without interposing a conductive layer, to the first transparent substrate side on a viewing side of the in-cell type liquid crystal cell. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer attached polarizing film comprises a surface treatment layer, a first polarizing film, and a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in this order, or comprises the surface treatment layer, the first polarizing film, an anchor layer, and the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer in this order.

In-cell liquid crystal panel and liquid crystal display device

An in-cell type liquid crystal panel is disclosed containing: an in-cell type liquid crystal cell provided with a liquid crystal layer including liquid crystal molecules homogeneously aligned in the absence of an electric field, a first transparent substrate and a second transparent substrate sandwiching the liquid crystal layer, and a touch sensing electrode unit related to touch sensor and touch-driven functions disposed between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer attached polarizing film disposed, via a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and without interposing a conductive layer, to the first transparent substrate side on the viewing side of the in-cell type liquid crystal cell; wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer attached polarizing film contains a first polarizing film, an anchor layer, and a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer; the anchor layer includes a conductive polymer; and the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes an antistatic agent.

A pressure-sensitive-adhesive-layer-attached polarizing film is disclosed having an odd shape, and capable of reducing occurrence of a crack in a polarizer and preventing peeling and foaming of a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and warpage of a polarizing film. This pressure-sensitive-adhesive-layer-attached polarizing film comprises a polarizing film, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on one surface of the polarizing film. The pressure-sensitive-adhesive-layer-attached polarizing film has an odd shape other than a rectangular shape, and when a strain gauge is attached to a surface not having the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer of the polarizing film such that a measurement axis and an absorption axis of the polarizing film intersect at right angles and strain amounts are measured, a difference between a strain amount at &#x2212;40&#xb0; C. and a strain amount at 85&#xb0; C. is 3000&#x3bc;&#x3b5; or less, and the creep value of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer at 85&#xb0; C. is 15-600 &#x3bc;m inclusive.

Pressure-sensitive-adhesive-layer-attached polarizing film, and image display device

A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition for an image display panel, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer for an image display panel, and an optical film provided with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer are disclosed which are free of problems regarding durability and defective appearance caused by an antistatic agent (conductive agent), and which have superior antistatic properties so as to be usable for applications such as in an image display panel. An image display panel is also disclosed in which the optical film provided with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is attached to the surface of the image display panel in contact with the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer without an interposed conductive layer, and a liquid crystal display device using the image display panel. Further, a liquid crystal display device is disclosed with a touch sensing function using the image display panel that can be used as various input display devices such as mobile devices.

A method for continuously manufacturing an optical display device comprises feeding a continuous web of optical film laminate including a continuous web of releasable film that includes a conductive layer and an optical film sheet that includes a conductive layer formed on the releasable film, bending the releasable film at a peeling body located in close vicinity of a lamination position, collecting the releasable film and thereby peeling the optical film sheet from the optical film laminate, sending the optical film sheet to the lamination position, and laminating the optical film sheet with a panel member which is conveyed to the lamination position by a panel conveying channel which makes at least a double-storied structure with a portion of a collecting channel where the releasable film is collected, attenuating static electrification generated on the optical film sheet, and continuously laminating the optical film sheet with the panel member.

A continuous web of optical film laminate comprising, an optical film comprising a first substrate and an adhesive layer on the first substrate, a releasable film comprising a second substrate and a releasably treated layer on the second substrate, the releasably treated layer being in contact with the adhesive layer, a first conductive layer between the first substrate and the adhesive layer, and a second conductive layer between the second substrate and the releasably treated layer. The first conductive layer and the second conductive layer comprise a static electrification prevention material, such that the optical film with the first conductive layer, and the releasable film with the second conductive layer, both have a sheet resistance of 10&#x3a9;/sq or less.

Provided are a separator-attached adhesive layer structure which comprises a separator having moderate light peelability with respect to an adhesive layer and exhibits excellent processability and durability, and a production method therefor. The production method comprises: a first step of forming a layer of an adhesive composition containing a (meth)acryl-based polymer, a peroxide and a phenolic antioxidant, on a release treatment surface of a separator subjected to a release treatment; and a second step of, after completion of the first step, heating the adhesive composition to cause cross-linking therein so as to be formed as an adhesive layer.

To provide a continuous web of optical film laminate provided with static electrification prevention function which allows for promptly attenuating static charge of optical film sheet and carrier film electrified by peeling action in RTP lamination method and apparatus. The problem has been solved with a continuous web of optical film laminate for using in RTP lamination method and apparatus, in which static electrification prevention function is provided to optical film sheets and a carrier film configuring the continuous web of optical film laminate, such that sheet resistance of each of the optical film sheets and the carrier film is 10&#x3a9;/sq or less so as to promptly attenuate static charge of the carrier film to be collected, which is statically electrified by peeling action, and the optical film sheets to be laminated to panel components, which are also statically electrified by peeling action.

There is provided a liquid crystal panel and a liquid crystal display apparatus in which light leakage occurring from a peripheral portion of a screen is small, and which has excellent display uniformity in a high humidity environment. A liquid crystal panel according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a liquid crystal cell; a first polarizing plate placed on a viewer side of the liquid crystal cell; and a second polarizing plate placed on an opposite side of the viewer side of the liquid crystal cell, wherein a dimensional change ratio (C) of the first polarizing plate is larger than a dimensional change ratio (C) of the second polarizing plate.
