A brake control device adjusts a fluid pressure of a brake fluid in a wheel cylinder, and is provided with: a fluid passage which connects a master cylinder and the wheel cylinder; a first electromagnetic valve which is provided in the fluid passage; a second electromagnetic valve which is provided in the fluid passage between the first electromagnetic valve and the wheel cylinder; a fluid pump which is driven by an electric motor, suctions the brake fluid from the fluid passage at a suction part between the first electromagnetic valve and the second electromagnetic valve, and discharges the brake fluid to the fluid passage at a discharge part between the first electromagnetic valve UP and the second electromagnetic valve; a check valve which is provided between the fluid pump and the discharge part; and a controller which controls the first electromagnetic valve, the second electromagnetic valve, and the electric motor.

In the present invention, a brake device is equipped with: differential pressure control valves; pressure adjusting units which are connected to the differential pressure control valves through liquid passages; and a control device which controls the WC pressure Pwc in wheel cylinders by operating the differential pressure control valves and the pressure adjusting units. When predetermined suppression control permission conditions are satisfied while both the supply pumps of the pressure adjusting units and the differential pressure control valves are in operation, the control device performs self-excited vibration suppression control over the differential pressure control valves, the self-excited vibration suppression control being carried out in such a manner that a valve element separated from a valve seat is caused to abut on the valve seat, and, upon abutting on the valve seat, the valve element is separated from the valve seat.

This vehicle control device is provided with: a control unit for executing one-pedal control, that is, the control for accelerating a vehicle when a single pedal is depressed from a predetermined reference point of a pedal stroke, and for decelerating the vehicle when the pedal is released from the reference point; and a determination unit for determining whether or not a rate of change in a pedal operation amount when the pedal is released is equal to or greater than a first threshold value. The control unit performs control for increasing a braking force when the rate of change is equal to or greater than the first threshold value.

A brake ECU determines whether or not interference-based vibration components are included in a vehicle body deceleration (DV) (steps S, S). Then, in the case of a positive determination (YES in step Sor step S), the brake ECU makes a comparison with when the determination is not positive, and revises a first deceleration determination value (DV_st) to be a larger value (step S). If the vehicle body deceleration value (DV) exceeds the first deceleration determination value (DV_st) and a G sensor value (G) exceeds a second deceleration determination value (G_st) (YES in steps Sand S), the brake ECU initiates auxiliary control.

A vehicle brake controller is capable of executing limit control when a driver is performing a brake pedal operation during turning of a vehicle, to limit an increase in a braking force applied to an inner wheel that is a wheel positioned on the inner side of the turn. The vehicle brake controller is configured to start the limit control when a wheel state value that becomes greater as deceleration of the inner wheel becomes greater exceeds a start determination value that is set to a value greater than zero.

Vehicle brake controller and vehicle brake control method

A vehicle braking control device includes first and second deceleration calculation units, an assist control unit, and a termination determination unit. The first deceleration calculation unit calculates a first estimated vehicle body deceleration using a wheel speed sensor detection signal. The second deceleration calculation unit calculates a second estimated vehicle body deceleration using a vehicle body acceleration sensor detection signal. The assist control unit initiates assist control, which assists increasing a braking force when the first estimated vehicle body deceleration exceeds a first deceleration determination value and the second estimated vehicle body deceleration exceeds a second deceleration determination value. The termination determination unit determines whether or not a termination condition of the assist control is satisfied based on at least one of the first and the second estimated vehicle body decelerations. A vehicle brake controller is capable of executing limit control for limiting increase in braking force applied to front wheels by using a deceleration of a vehicle. The vehicle brake controller is configured to start the limit control when the deceleration of the vehicle becomes greater than or equal to a start determination value before a start determination time period elapses after a deceleration starting point in time, at which the deceleration of the vehicle is started by application of braking force at least to the front wheels. The vehicle brake controller is configured to end the limit control if the deceleration of the vehicle is less than an end determination value, which is greater than the start determination value, at a point in time when an end determination time period, which is longer than the start determination time period, has elapsed from the deceleration starting point in time.

A brake-pedal depression force estimation device includes: a first deceleration calculation unit which uses a vehicle-mounted wheel speed sensor to calculate a first estimated vehicle-body deceleration for the vehicle; a second deceleration calculation unit which uses a vehicle-mounted vehicle-body acceleration sensor to calculate a second estimated vehicle-body deceleration for the vehicle; a gradient acquisition unit which acquires the gradient of change for the first estimated vehicle-body deceleration; and a depression force determination unit which determines if the brake-pedal depression force applied by a driver is high or not. The gradient acquisition unit acquires a first gradient of change and a second gradient of change. The depression force determination unit is configured so as to determine the brake-pedal depression force applied by a driver to be high when the second gradient of change is equal to or exceeds the first gradient of change.

A brake ECU acquires the vehicle load (WW) (step S), and sets a higher start-time criterion value (KT2) when the load (WW) is heavy than when the load (WW) is light (step S). The brake ECU initiates auxiliary control when the period since the deceleration of the vehicle exceeded a first deceleration determination value is less than or equal to the start-time criterion value (KT2) and the G sensor value exceeds a second deceleration determination value.
