A position detection apparatus includes: a first antenna attached to a predetermined position of a subject and configured to receive a wireless signal transmitted from a medical apparatus inserted into the subject; a second antenna attached to the subject at a different position relative to the first antenna and configured to receive the wireless signal; and a processor comprising hardware. The processor is configured to: calculate a first received strength of the wireless signal received by the first antenna and a second received strength of the wireless signal received by the second antenna; calculate an attachment position of the second antenna based on the first and the second received strengths; and calculate a position of the medical apparatus based on: the first and the second received strengths; the calculated position of the first antenna; and the calculated position of the second antenna.

Position detection apparatus, position detection system, and position detection method

A position detection system includes: a capsule medical device configured to generate a position-detecting magnetic field; a plurality of detection coils arranged outside a subject; and a processor including hardware. The processor is configured to correct a magnetic field component caused by a first magnetic field generation material with respect to each of measurement values of detection signals output from the detection coils, the first magnetic field generation material being arranged inside a space that the position-detecting magnetic field generated by the capsule medical device present inside a detection target region is reachable, the detection target region being a region in which a position of the capsule medical device is detectable, the first magnetic field generation material being configured to generate a magnetic field due to action of the position-detecting magnetic field.

Position detection system and position detection method

A position detecting system includes: a capsule medical device having therein a magnetic field generation coil for generating a magnetic field; detection coils configured to detect the magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generation coil, and to output detection signals; at least one reference coil configured to detect a magnetic field and to output a detection signal, and arranged at a position where a signal-to-noise ratio to the magnetic field generated by the magnetic field generation coil is smaller than a signal-to-noise ratio in each of the detection signals detected by the detection coils; and a magnetic field correction unit configured to correct magnetic field detection values based on the detection signals respectively output from the detection coils, using at least one reference magnetic field detection value that is a detection value of the magnetic field based on the detection signal output from the at least one reference coil.

Position detecting system

A magnetic field detection device includes: a resonance circuit having a winding coil for converting a magnetic field signal of an alternating magnetic field into a voltage signal and having a capacitor connected in parallel to the coil; an element connected in series to an output stage of the resonance circuit; and a low noise amplifier connected to an output stage of the element. The element has a reactance whose sign is opposite to that of an imaginary part of an impedance of the resonance circuit at a detected frequency of the alternating magnetic field. An absolute value of a combined impedance of the resonance circuit and the element is smaller than an internal resistance of the coil.
