A vehicle braking device has electric brakes for generating a braking force at corresponding wheels. The vehicle braking device includes a braking force controller for controlling the braking force. A relationship between an electric current and the braking force in each of the electric brakes has a hysteresis characteristic. The hysteresis characteristic indicates that the braking force increases along a positive efficiency line when the electric current increases, the braking force is held constant when the electric current decreases from a turning value to a holding threshold, and the braking force decreases along an inverse efficiency line when the electric current decreases from the holding threshold. The braking force controller alternately switches between a positive efficiency braking wheel and the braking force holding wheel while a required braking force of the vehicle increases or is held.

Vehicle braking device

A motor control device drives first and second motors for outputting torque in braking or non-braking direction in a vehicle brake device, includes: an electric power converter that includes first to third legs having positive and negative switch elements; and a control unit. When the control unit energizes from the positive switch element of the first or third leg to the negative switch element of the second leg, the first and second motors output the torque in a same direction. When an absolute value of current flowing or estimated to flow in at least one of the first motor and the second motor exceeds a current threshold, the control unit drives the positive and negative switch elements of the second leg.

Motor control device

An analog-to-digital conversion device includes: a switch connected to input units through signal lines to receive external voltages selecting and outputting one external voltage; an S/H circuit holding a voltage corresponding to an output of the switch; a converter performing AD conversion based on the voltage; and a controller determining the external voltage selected by the switch and performing a disconnection determination whether a disconnection occurs in the signal line. In the disconnection determination, the controller controls the switch to select a reference voltage different from the external voltage before controlling the switch to select the external voltage to be determined, and performs the disconnection determination based on a voltage difference between the reference voltage and the external voltage after controlling the switch to select the external voltage.
