A device connector disclosed herein is a shield connector configured to be attached to a casing of a device installed in an engine room of a vehicle and including a metal shield bracket to which a flexible metal shield conductor is connected. The shield connector includes a housing fixed to the bracket, a shield connecting member, a cover, and a water blocking wall. The shield connecting member includes a conductor connecting portion that is a bendable metal plate. The conductor connecting portion is bent to sandwich an upper end portion of the shield conductor and screwed to the shield bracket to electrically connect the shield conductor to the shield bracket. The cover includes a shell cover that covers the housing. The water blocking wall is in a lower end portion of the shell cover to cover left, right, and rear sides of a bent portion of the conductor connecting portion.

Shield connector

A device connector disclosed herein is a device connector configured to be attached to a casing of a device. The device connector includes a housing, a shield bracket integrally formed with the housing and configured to be fixed to the casing with a fixing bolt to fix the housing, a cover covering the housing and fixed to the shield bracket with the fixing bolt, and a tool blocking portion included in a shell cover of the cover and located adjacent to a rear side of the fixing bolt for fixing the shield bracket to the casing when the shell cover is fixed to the shield bracket. The tool blocking portion blocks access of a tool to the fixing bolt for fixing the shield bracket to the casing.

Device connector

A vehicle equipped with a traveling motor includes: two front pillars; two side members; a power unit arranged between the two side members and including the traveling motor; an electric-power converter arranged adjacent to the power unit and located at a higher position in the vehicle-vertical direction than the side members; and a first auxiliary frame member, a first end of the first auxiliary frame member being coupled to one of the front pillars, the first auxiliary frame member extending, as viewed from the vehicle-width direction, to pass a position where the first auxiliary frame member overlaps with the electric-power converter or a position higher than the electric-power converter, and a second end of the first auxiliary frame member being coupled to one of the side members, at a more frontward position than the electric-power converter.

Vehicle equipped with traveling motor

An on-vehicle structure includes a housing of a motor and a power control unit. The power control unit is fixed by a front bracket and a rear bracket above the housing. A space is defined between a lower surface of the power control unit and the housing. The front bracket includes a base section and a support section. The support section is configured to contact with the housing before the lower surface of the power control unit contacts with an upper surface of the housing when the support section is collapsed rearward by a load applied to the power control unit from front.

Connector including water-penetrating wall

An inverter case is provided on a transaxle of a vehicle so as to be inclined downward toward a vehicle front side, and the inverter case includes: a refrigerant passage connection portion provided on a front side surface of the inverter case in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, the refrigerant passage connection portion having a shaft seal structure; a refrigerant passage member disposed on the front side surface of the inverter case and connected to the refrigerant passage connection portion by the shaft seal structure; and a projecting portion provided on an upper part of the front side surface of the inverter case, the projecting portion being configured such that a front side end of the projecting portion is placed at the vehicle front side relative to a front side end of the refrigerant passage member in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.

Inverter case

An in-vehicle structure for an inverter includes a bracket, a damping bush, and a braided wire. The bracket is made of a metal plate, and serves as a metal fitting for fixing the inverter to a transmission (a vehicle). The damping bush is fitted between the bracket and either one of a case of the inverter and the transmission. The damping bush is made of an insulator. The braided wire electrically connects the case of the inverter to the transmission. The braided wire is wired along the metal plate of the bracket.

In-vehicle structure for inverter and bracket unit for inverter

The vehicle mounting structure comprises an electronic device, a first bracket, a drive train and a first vibration isolating bush. The electronic device is fixed on the drive train via the first bracket, and the electronic device and the drive train define a gap therebetween. The first vibration isolating bush is provided between the first bracket and the electronic device.

Vehicle mounting structure for electronic device

A structure is provided in which a power cable connecting an inverter with a motor arranged in the front compartment is protected from breakage upon a crash. A hybrid vehicle includes an inverter fixed to a top of a drive train with a gap by front and rear brackets. The front bracket connects a front surface of the inverter with the drive train and the rear bracket connects a rear surface of the inverter with the drive train. The front surface of the inverter corresponds to a frontward side surface of the vehicle. When the vehicle crashes, the front and rear brackets cause the inverter move backward and downward so that a distance between the inverter and the drive train is reduced. Therefore, a power cable is protected from breakage.

Electric vehicle

Provided is a casing cover able to conform to the dimensional tolerance in a difference between levels of the casing. The casing cover has an upper level cover which covers two openings in the upper level of the casing and a lower level cover which covers an opening in a lower level of the casing. Furthermore, among the upper level cover and the lower level cover: one is formed with an insertion opening passing therethrough in the direction of the height of the difference in levels; and the other is provided with a guide fitting formed to a length in the direction of the height of the difference in levels, which is longer than the maximum allowable dimension of the height of the difference between levels plus a value, and inserted into the insertion opening. In addition, for purposes of preventing the guide fitting, which connects the upper level cover and the lower level cover, from slipping out of the insertion opening, a connection fitting is provided.
