A method of manufacturing a display device includes: the measurement step of sweeping a voltage to light-emitting elements and measuring a current value that flows in the light-emitting elements in response to a voltage value applied; the computation step of computing a first derivative value of the current value with respect to the voltage value, the first derivative value representing voltage dependence of a first derivative of the current value; the peak determination step of determining a peak of the first derivative value; the processing step of processing the light-emitting elements based on a result of the peak determination step; and the attaching step of attaching a housing to the substrate.

A light-emitting device includes a first sub-pixel provided with a first light emitter, and a second sub-pixel provided with a second light emitter and constituting, together with the first sub-pixel, one of a plurality of pixels. The first light emitter has a first cathode, a first anode, and a first light-emitting layer containing a first quantum dot and disposed between the first cathode and the first anode. The second light emitter has a second cathode, a second anode, and a second light-emitting layer containing a second quantum dot and disposed between the second cathode and the second anode. The second quantum dot emits light having a longer light-emission wavelength than the first quantum dot. The first light-emitting layer is thicker than the second light-emitting layer.

Light-emitting device for improving internal quantum efficiency

Provided is a light-emitting element to highly efficiently emit light in different colors. The light-emitting element includes: a cathode; an anode; a light-emitting layer formed between the cathode and the anode, and including a plurality of light-emitting regions respectively emitting light of different wavelengths; and an electron-transport layer formed between the cathode and the light-emitting layer, and including a plurality of regions each corresponding to one of the light-emitting regions. The electron-transport layer includes a ZnMgO film (where X is 0≤X<1). Of the plurality of regions included in the electron-transport layer, a region, corresponding to one of the light-emitting regions that emits light of a shorter wavelength, is higher in composition ratio X of Mg and/or less in thickness of the ZnMgO film.

An inspection circuit in a display device includes: a measuring circuit configured to sweep a voltage to the display device and to measure a current value that flows in a light-emitting element in response to a voltage value applied; a computation circuit configured to compute a first derivative value of the current value with respect to the voltage value, the first derivative value representing voltage dependence of a first derivative of the current value; a peak determination circuit configured to determine a peak of the first derivative value; and a processing circuit configured to process the light-emitting element based on a result of the determination by the peak determination circuit.

A pixel is divided into a first subpixel and a second subpixel. A first data signal is input to a first drive unit that drives a first light-emitting element constituting the first subpixel, and a second data signal is input to a second drive unit that drives a second light-emitting element constituting the second subpixel. A gray scale value of the first data signal is smaller than a gray scale value of the second data signal.
