A continuously variable transmission includes: a first pulley and a second pulley each including a fixed pulley and a movable pulley; and an endless member wound around the first pulley and the second pulley, wherein the continuously variable transmission continuously changes a speed ratio by controlling a thrust of the movable pulley with a hydraulic pressure, the thrust of the movable pulley is made smaller as a rotation speed of the first pulley decreases, and when the rotation speed of the first pulley is lower than a predetermined rotation speed, the thrust of the movable pulley in a case where the speed ratio is on a Low side of the predetermined speed ratio is not made smaller than the thrust of the movable pulley in a case where the speed ratio is on a High side of the predetermined speed ratio.

Continuously variable transmission, method for controlling continuously variable transmission, and non-transitory computer-readable medium

A hydraulic actuation device includes a case; an oil passage provided in the case; and a support member provided in the case and configured to support a supported member. The oil passage includes an opening portion that allows the oil passage to communicate with a space inside the case, the support member is inserted into the opening portion, and a communication between the oil passage and the space inside the case is blocked by the support member.

Control device

The sensor arrangement structure includes a pulley that rotates about a rotation axis; and a sensor that detects rotation of the pulley. The pulley includes a fixed pulley, a movable pulley that can be displaced relative to the fixed pulley in a direction of the rotation axis, and a plunger defining an oil chamber on a back of the movable pulley. The plunger is provided with a detection target portion in a region that can be visually recognized from the direction of the rotation axis, and the sensor is provided on a support portion that rotatably supports the fixed pulley in a direction along the rotation axis and faces the region in which the detection target portion is provided.

The vehicle sailing stop control method includes: performing sailing stop control so that coasting is performed by cutting off power transmission of the friction engagement element and stopping the traveling drive source upon a sailing stop travel condition being established; and, during coasting by the sailing stop control, placing the lock-up clutch in a power transmission state in which the hydraulic pressure is applied to the lock-up clutch.

A transmission controller judges whether or not there was performed a specific shift operation where the mode of a transmission is alternately switched between a D-mode and a R-mode, and when it is judged that the specific shift operation was performed and when a forward clutch is engaged, the forward clutch is brought into an engaged state by supplying a hydraulic pressure lower than a lock pressure, with which a locking mechanism is brought into a locked state, to an ON-pressure piston chamber.

A multi-disc frictional engagement mechanism includes a plurality of driven plates and drive plates, a hydraulic piston, a spring which comes into contact with a pressure receiving portion of the hydraulic piston, an oil chamber which causes a hydraulic pressure to act on the pressure receiving portion, and a lock mechanism which restricts a movement of the hydraulic piston in a coupling direction toward the driven plates and the drive plates in a state where the hydraulic pressure is supplied to the oil chamber, the spring is compressed by the pressure receiving portion and the driven plates and the drive plates are not coupled.

Multi-disc frictional engagement mechanism

A multi-disc frictional engagement mechanism includes driven plates and drive plates, a clutch piston including a radially extending first pressure receiving portion, a joint piston including a radially extending second pressure receiving portion and an engaging portion which is engaged with a clutch hub to engage the clutch hub and the clutch drum such that the clutch hub and the clutch drum are not relatively rotatable when the joint piston advances, a first oil chamber which causes a hydraulic pressure to act on the first pressure receiving portion, and a second oil chamber which communicates with the first oil chamber and to which the hydraulic pressure is supplied later than to the first oil chamber to act on the second pressure receiving portion when the hydraulic pressure is supplied to the first oil chamber.
