A connector housing comprises a mating portion including a plurality of mating hoods that are arranged in a width direction on a front side of the connector housing that is configured to be mated with a mating connector and a rear structure portion disposed posterior to the mating portion. The rear structure portion includes a plurality of structure parts each disposed between two mating hoods adjacent to each other of the plurality of mating hoods and a plurality of notches each disposed between two structure parts adjacent to each other of the plurality of structure parts.

Connector housing with a reduced warpage

A connector comprises a first housing, a cam member, and an operation lever. The first housing has a mating portion configured to mate with a second housing of a second connector. The cam member has a cam groove configured to mate with a cam pin provided on the second housing. The cam member causes the second housing to mate with the first housing by sliding in a lateral direction intersecting with a direction of mating to draw the cam pin into the cam groove. The operation lever slides the cam member according to a turning operation. A nipping portion of the connector nips the cam pin in the cam groove when the cam member slides up to a mating completion position at which mating of the second housing with the first housing is completed.

Connector and connector assembly

A connector assembly that includes a first connector and a second connector. The first connector has a spring member press-fitted into a housing thereof. The second connector has a groove in a housing thereof. At the time of mating, the spring member is inserted in the groove in a mating direction to be deformed elastically in a direction intersecting the mating direction. Then, with the spring member of the first connector elastically deformed in the groove of the second connector, looseness between the housing of the first connector and the housing of the second connector is prevented.

A connector having a housing, a slide member, and an operation lever. The slide member slides in response to operation of the operation lever. The slide member has a guide projection and slides while the guide projection is guided in a guide groove of the housing. The slide member has a cam groove that receives a cam pin in a second connector and the slide member, by sliding, performs mating with the second connector. The slide member has a first nipping portion that nips the cam pin when it slides to a completely mated position. The housing has a second nipping portion that nips the guide projection of the slide member when the slide member slides to the completely mated position.

An electrical connector is provided and includes a housing and a terminal. The housing includes a terminal receiving passageway and a lance extending into the terminal receiving passageway. The terminal is inserted into the terminal receiving passageway and includes a top surface facing the lance and a holding portion extending from and above the top surface.

An electrical connector is disclosed. The electrical connector comprises a housing and an attachment block disposed on the housing. The attachment block has a first end, an opposite second end, a first truncated conical portion having an outer radius continuously increasing from the first end toward the second end, and a second truncated conical portion having an outer radius continuously increasing from the second end toward the first end.

An electrical connector assembly is configured so that a plug can be connected to or disconnected from a receptacle easily and reliably. Levers (A,C) of plug (A,C) out of three plug (A,B,C), the plug (A,C) being connected to hoods (A,C) on both end sides of a receptacle (), each have a length such as to project to outward from the hoods (A,C), and the levers (A,C) are configured so as to be locked to a receptacle () on the outside of the hoods (A,C).

Electrical connector assembly

An electrical connector assembly which has a plurality of male connectors and a female connector that mates with the plurality of male connectors. Each of the male connectors has a male-type housing and a female-type contact secured to this male-type housing. Each of the male-type housings has a lock arm that is provided on the upper surface or undersurface of the male-type housing with the free end of this lock arm being positioned at the rear end of the housing. A lock arm protection member that protrudes upward or downward from the rear end of the upper surface or undersurface of the male-type housing and protects the lock arm. The female connector has a female-type housing and a male-type contact secured to this female-type housing. The female-type housing has a plurality of male connector receiving parts that receive the male-type housings and lock members on which the lock arms respectively latch. The walls between adjacent male connector receiving parts in the female-type housing are such that the front ends thereof are positioned further toward the interior than the mating surface of the female-type housing. A recessed part that receives the lock arm protection member of each of the male connectors is formed in the mating surface in the upper wall or lower wall of each of the male connector receiving parts.

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing provided with a plurality of first contacts. Each of the first contacts has a tine that extends toward an outside of the insulating housing that is bent at a right angle with respect thereto. A tine plate is mounted on a side of the insulating housing. A circuit board is arranged adjacent to the undersurface of the tine plate and spaced there from. The tines extend through first through-holes in the tine plate and first through-holes in the circuit board. The tine plate has at least one first recess provided on the undersurface of the tine plate that encompasses at least one of the first though-holes on the tine plate. Molten solder is provided in the first through-holes in the circuit board and forms a fillet on the tines that extends toward the undersurface of the tine plate.

Electrical connector housing

An electrical connector comprises an insulating housing and first contacts secured to the housing. Each of the first contacts has the same shape and includes a housing securing member, a contact member extending from a first end of the housing securing member, and a circuit board connecting member extending from a second end of the housing securing member that is offset from the contact member. The first contacts are arranged such that adjacent circuit board connecting members of the first contacts are arranged at substantially the same pitch. A plurality of the first contacts is inverted by substantially 180 degrees, and the contact members of the first contacts inverted by substantially 180 degrees and adjacent contact members of the first contacts not inverted by substantially 180 degrees are arranged at a pitch different from the pitch of the circuit board connecting members.
