In an indoor positioning system, for establishment of a cost sharing system, the positioning information transmission device does not directly transmit positional information but performs concealment and variablization on the device ID and transmits the concealed and variablized device ID. The positioning information management server stores and manages correspondence between the device IDs and positional information, and performs conversion from the device ID to the positional information in accordance with the correspondence. Further, the problem of conflict between concealed IDs upon concealment of positioning identification information by the positioning information transmission devices, which occurs when all the positioning information transmission devices use the same secret key, can be prevented. The system can be operated even when the bit length of the device ID is short.

Positional information system

A computer system including wireless terminals which transmit information, a business application server which performs a predetermined operation based on information received from the wireless terminals, and a base transceiver station which relays communications between the wireless terminals and the business application server, are provided. The base transceiver station, to manage said plural wireless terminals in groups, stores a group definition table showing a correspondence between the wireless terminals and the groups, stores the information received from the terminals in a state history table which manages the state history of the wireless terminals, extracts difference information between the information received from the wireless terminals and the information stored in the state history table, summarizes the extracted difference information for each group, and transmits it to the business application server. The data amount received by a business application server is thus reduced.

Computer system and base transceiver stations

An attribute value of a matter accompanied by a sensor is transmissibly accessible in a sensor node system constituted by wireless terminal computers having the sensor, the wireless communication base stations and server computers. To accomplish the object, the invention provides an information distribution system, to which an image distribution terminal including a broadcast recording system and an image viewing terminal are connected via a communication network, wherein the image distribution terminal includes an image editing system for editing a recorded image, wherein an image edition meta information providing system for providing edition meta information required for the edition is connected to the communication network, and the image editing system edits a recorded image of the broadcast image, using the image edition meta information provided by the image edition meta information providing system, and provides the edited image to the image viewing terminal, in accordance with a viewing request from the image viewing terminal.

Information distribution system

An integrated circuit card operation management system and method are provided. In one example of the system, a collator system is provided for receiving a user request to determine whether the application program can be loaded, for acquiring a card policy from a card issue management system, and for acquiring an application program policy from a service provider management system. The collator system requests card related information of the card issue management system and requests application program related information of the service provider management system. The collator system specifies a definition format. The card issue management system and the service provider management system extract requested information from existent information, convert the requested information according to the specified definition format, and transmit the converted information to the collator system. Using the acquired policies and the acquired profiles, the collator system determines whether the application program can be loaded.

Integrated circuit card system and application loading method

A system is provided which compensates a low operational performance of a conventional integrated circuit (IC) card by setting a substitute server computer between the IC card and a business server computer in a system using the IC card. Substitute processing using an authentication result is realized by setting an IC card authentication server computer in addition to the business server computer and sending an authentication result of the authentication server computer to the IC card, substitute server computer, and business server computer. Thus, because the substitute server computer does not directly authenticate the IC card, the quantity of authentication information in the substitute server computer is substantially reduced and authentication processing becomes efficient.

Method and system for authenticating service using integrated circuit card

A method, by which if a reissued smart card is issued based on an old smart card, the application program loaded in the old smart card is smoothly reloaded in the reissued smart card, is disclosed. Its specific configuration will be described as below. A method for loading an application program in a smart card comprises the steps of: in response to a request for loading one application program for a smart card in the smart card that has been reissued based on an old smart card, judging whether or not said one application program was loaded in the old smart card, according to a relationship between a card id of the reissued smart card and a card id of the old smart card; and if it is found out that said one application program was loaded, loading said one application program in the reissued smart card.

There have been some problems in the conventional IC card such as a card holder has to memorize his PIN, the set of conditions for the combination of IC cards has been impossible, a self-governing body has been unable to issue a resident cart for the utilization of public facilities to a resident in the neighboring self-governing body. In the present invention, an attribute-information storage means for an associated-IC-card application is provided in a first IC card for storing attribute information of the IC-card application of a second IC card, and the list of selectable IC-card applications is displayed based on the reliance relation predicated on attribute information and the selection by users can be accepted. Method of providing IC card service, card terminal, and IC card

An IC card that allows a service provider doing a business of loading an application into the IC card to dynamically load the application into the IC card safely after the issuance of the IC card without making a contract directly with a card issuer issuing the IC card and without establishing a communication with the card issuer. A system for loading, through a shop terminal, a game application into an IC card which disables playing of the game after a plurality of times in the same pattern by invalidating the game pattern when the play is completed and program log data is stored in the IC card. The log data is collected by a management server for each connection of the IC card and the shop terminal so as to administrate the collected data to enable dynamic management of game parameters, thereby the game application may be safely introduced to the IC card system, thereby increasing a user desire to use the card.

In the case where a card issuer and a service provider are different in operating and managing a smart card for multi-application programs, when the card issuer sends a request of sending an initial load application program personalized when initially issuing the card to the service provider, the service provider can not select a proper application program and determine an object for personalizing. This is solved by assigning a unique number to the smart card issue application form for cooperating the card issuer with the service provider.
