A shielded electrically conductive path is provided with a shield terminal including an inner conductor and an outer conductor surrounding the inner conductor, a shielded cable including a core wire fixed to a rear end part of the inner conductor, a braided wire surrounding the core wire and a sheath surrounding the braided wire, and a sleeve mounted on an outer periphery of a front end part of the sheath. In a front end part of the shielded cable, the braided wire extending from a front end of the sheath is folded rearward and put on an outer periphery of the sleeve and a crimping portion in a rear end part of the outer conductor is crimped to the sleeve while surrounding an outer periphery of a folded portion of the braided wire.

Shielded electrically conductive cable connector

It is aimed to reduce a diameter. A shielded electrically conductive path is provided with a shielded cable configured such that a core wire is surrounded with a shield layer, and a shield terminal including an inner conductor to be connected to the core wire and an outer conductor formed with a crimping portion in the form of an open barrel. The crimping portion includes a first crimp portion formed with a projection-like first locking portion and a second crimp portion formed with a second locking portion, and is crimped to an outer surface of the shield layer with the first locking portion locked to the second locking portion. A locking margin of the first locking portion and the second locking portion in a radial direction is within a plate thickness range of the second crimp portion.

Shielded electrically conductive path

A connector includes inner conductors and an outer conductor. The outer conductor includes four plate portions surrounding outer peripheral surfaces of the inner conductors, a rear plate portion for closing a rear surface of the outer conductor and an opening provided behind the bottom plate portion and in front of the rear plate portion. The inner conductor includes a board connecting portion projecting outwardly of the outer conductor through the opening. The outer conductor includes a common base end portion connected to a rear end of the bottom plate portion via a bent portion and projecting toward the same side as the board connecting portion, and a plurality of branched pieces projecting from a projecting end of the common base end portion while being arranged in a width direction of the common base end portion.

A connector structure includes a first housing, a first shield terminal to be accommodated into the first housing, a second housing connectable to the first housing, and a second shield terminal to be accommodated into the second housing. The first shield terminal includes first inner conductors and a first outer conductor. The second shield terminal includes second inner conductors and a second outer conductor. The first outer conductor includes a first fitting portion and a first non-fitting portion. The second outer conductor includes a second fitting portion and a cut portion. The first housing includes rattling suppressing portions for suppressing rattling of the first shield terminal by coming into contact with an exposed portion of the first fitting portion exposed from the cut portion and a locking lance for retaining the first shield terminal by being locked to a lance locking portion provided on the first non-fitting portion.

Connector with structure for suppressing rattling of the shield terminal

A cable with terminals in the present disclosure includes a shielded cable () and an outer conductor (). The shielded cable () includes wires () and a shield. The outer conductor () includes a tube. The tube collectively covers the outer peripheries of the wires () exposed from the shield, and includes a first cover and a second cover. The first cover covers the wires from a first side, and the second cover covers the wires from a second side opposite to the first side with clearances (S) defined between the first and second covers. At least one of the first and second covers includes leakage suppressing portions (). The leakage suppressing portions () extend toward a wire arrangement area () where the wires () are arranged in the tube.

Electrical connector with a multi-part shield

A shield connector () includes terminals () arranged side by side in a width direction. A shield shell () collectively surrounds the terminals () on an outer peripheral side, and a dielectric () interposed between the respective terminals () and the shield shell (). The shield shell () includes a back wall () serving as a cover for covering an exposed surface of each terminal () from the dielectric (). The back wall () includes bottomed recesses () at positions facing areas, across which the respective terminals () are adjacent in the width direction, on an outer surface () on a side opposite to an inner surface () facing the respective terminals ().
