A radar device includes: a first radar and a second radar to transmit, as radar signals, frequency modulated signals whose frequency gradients with a lapse of time are different from each other and receive reflected waves of the radar signals; a calculation unit to calculate a first frequency spectrum obtained by performing Fourier transform in a distance direction on digital data of a beat signal and a second frequency spectrum obtained by performing Fourier transform in a relative velocity direction on the first frequency spectrum, and calculate distance and velocity information for each radar on the basis of a beat frequency and a Doppler frequency corresponding to a peak value in the second frequency spectrum; and a processing unit to compare the distance and velocity information calculated for each of the radars.

A radar device includes: an electromagnetic noise detecting unit for detecting electromagnetic noise input to an ADC using digital data in a period when no radar signal is transmitted, among digital data output from the ADC; and an observation target detecting unit for detecting an observation target using digital data in a period when the radar signal has been transmitted, among the digital data output from the ADC, and the electromagnetic noise detected by the electromagnetic noise detecting unit.

The transmission unit generates a transmission signal obtained by multiplying a linearly FM-modulated pulse signal by a first window function. The pulse compression unit divides a signal, which is obtained by multiplying a first reference signal obtained by multiplying the pulse signal by a second window function different from the first window function, by a complex conjugate part of a second reference signal obtained by multiplying the pulse signal by a third window function, which is a function independent of the second window function, by a complex conjugate part of the transmission signal, and uses this as a reference signal. Then, the pulse compression unit performs pulse compression on the received signal using the reference signal.

Included are: a coaxial line () provided so as to pass through a second ground conductor (), a first dielectric substrate (), and a second dielectric substrate (), the coaxial line () including an outer conductor () allowing a first ground conductor (), a second ground conductor (), and a third ground conductor () to be conductive thereamong; and a conductive member () provided so as to pass through the first dielectric substrate (), the conductive member () allowing the first ground conductor () and the second ground conductor () to be conductive therebetween. An interface circuit () combines a plurality of signals having mutually different phases output from each of plurality of element antennas (), (), (), and () and outputs the combined signal to the coaxial line ().

A high-frequency package includes a first dielectric substrate having a signal line and a grounding conductor provided on a back side, a high-frequency element connected to a back side of the first dielectric substrate with a first connection conductor therebetween, a second dielectric substrate having a signal line and a grounding conductor provided on a front side facing the back side with the high-frequency element therebetween, and second connection conductors that are arranged so as to surround the high-frequency element and connect the grounding conductor on the back side of the first dielectric substrate and the grounding conductor on the front side of the second dielectric substrate. In the high-frequency package, a dielectric space surrounded by a conductor pattern is formed in the front side of the second dielectric substrate under the high-frequency element.
