There is provided a method for executing processing for a workpiece. An objective of the present invention is to provide a method, or the like, for estimating the convergence of dimensional changes in a molded article over time, by utilizing the polarization intensity of terahertz waves. The present invention provides a method for estimating the convergence of changes in the dimensions of a molded article over time, the method comprising: irradiating a molded article with terahertz waves at multiple positions thereon, wherein the molded article is irradiated with the terahertz waves at each position thereon in multiple orientations about the optical axis; measuring polarization intensities of the terahertz waves transmitted through or reflected from the molded article; and determining whether the polarization intensities at the multiple positions are in a given relationship with each other.

Method and system for estimating convergence of changes in dimensions of molded article over time

A method of manufacturing a composite member including an aluminum member and a resin member bonded to each other, the method including: performing blasting on a surface of the aluminum member; modifying the surface of the aluminum member into aluminum hydroxide, the modifying including causing the surface of the aluminum member having undergone blasting to react with water by using at least one of heat and plasma; and directly bonding the resin member to the surface of the aluminum member modified to the aluminum hydroxide.

Method of manufacturing composite member and the composite member

Provided is a method for producing a composite member formed by bonding a base material and a resin member. The method includes: a surface treatment step of forming micro-order or nano-order asperities on a surface of a base material; and a bonding step of directly bonding, by injection molding, a resin member to the surface of the base material that has the asperities formed in the surface treatment step. In addition, the composite member includes: a base material having micro-order or nano-order asperities on a surface thereof; and a resin member that is in direct contact with the surface of the base material.
