The stacking unit is provided with a stacking space, which accepts coins transported by the transport unit from above and stacks the coins. In the stacking space, stack support portions which support coins to be stacked are provided movably up and down. Coins to be stacked are supported in an inclined state by the stack support portions. At a height in which the stack of coins supported by the stack support portions are stacked, an inclination maintaining portion in which the higher side of the inclination of a coin comes into contact with is provided. The inclinations of coins higher than a space portion are forcibly maintained by the inclination maintaining portion, the space portion being formed on the higher side of the inclination of the coin at a height in the stack of the coins.

Coin wrapping machine

There is provided a coin handling system including: a reception unit, a recognition unit, a storing unit having a plurality of cassettes configured to store the coin that has been recognized by the recognition unit, a coin guiding unit configured to guide to any of the cassettes the coin that has been recognized by the recognition unit, a storage unit for storing a plurality of storing patterns of the coin into the plurality of cassettes, a selecting unit for selecting a specific storing pattern among the plurality of storing patterns, and a control unit configured to control the coin guiding unit in such a manner that the coin that has been recognized by the recognition unit is stored in a corresponding cassette, in accordance with the selected storing pattern, when a specific storing pattern is selected among the plurality of storing patterns.

Coin handling system

A top end portion of an outer peripheral surface of a coin feeding roller protrudes in a stacking section as a rotating friction surface so as to correspond to an end portion of a coin passage. A plurality of coins are conveyed to the end portion of the coin passage in a row in a direction of a diameter of the coins by operation of a conveying mechanism. The rotating friction surface of the feeding roller rotates while contacting a lower surface of a conveyed coin, to cause the coin to get over the rotating friction surface from an upstream side to a downstream side of the friction surface with respect to a direction of rotation thereof. Thus, the roller displaces a trailing edge of a previously conveyed coin upwards so that a leading edge of a subsequently conveyed coin can enter between the previously conveyed coin and the friction surface. By repeating this operation, conveyed coins are sequentially stacked in a stacking section. A distance between an axis of the feeding roller and a stop surface of a stopping r, to which a leading edge of the coin contacts, is adjustable in accordance with a diameter of coins.

Coin stacking apparatus

A coin packaging apparatus facilitates a change operation of the type of coins processed, can correspond to any type of coin, and is an apparatus which feeds coins one by one from a circular plate and conveys them along a coin passage and in which required processing, such as totaling and separation of the coins to be packaged, is performed. The coins are fed to a coin stacking portion where a required number of coins are stacked and packaged by a coin packaging portion. A coin passage width adjustment device steplessly adjusts the width of the coin passage, a coin passage height adjustment device steplessly adjusts the height of the coin passage, and a coin stacking portion inner diameter adjustment device steplessly adjusts the inner diameter of the coin stacking portion. A coin information input portion receives coin information, including at least the diameter and thickness of coins to be proposed. A coin information coin passage width information P.sub.1 and the coin storage portion stores coin information of at least the diameter and thickness of coins to be processed in correspondence with the type of coin. A coin type specification portion specifies the type of coin to be processed, and a control unit determines the inner diameter of a coin stacking portion and the height and width of a coin passage portion from coin information from the coin information storage portion and on the basis of the coin type from the coin type specification means, and operates each of the adjustment portion to those determined dimensions.
