An image forming apparatus performs primary transfer of single-color toner image onto an intermediate transfer belt and performs secondary transfer of the toner image onto a sheet, and includes: single image forming unit forming the single-color toner image; single toner supply bottle containing replenishment toner; and first and second support members supporting the belt. The image forming unit is closer to the first member than the second member in a belt rotation direction. The bottle includes: single bottle body; and supply unit near one end of the body in the rotation direction. The other end is (i) closer to the second member than the one end is in the rotation direction and (ii) distant from the image forming unit in a support member direction from the first member toward the second member by one to three times a length of the image forming unit in the support member direction.

An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus main body and an intermediate transfer unit including an intermediate transfer belt, the intermediate transfer unit being provided as being attachable to and removable from the apparatus main body by sliding movement in a first direction. The apparatus main body includes a main body-side guide portion for guiding the intermediate transfer unit along the first direction. The intermediate transfer unit includes a side frame including a frame portion extending like a frame with the first direction being defined as a longitudinal direction thereof, the side frame being provided adjacently to the intermediate transfer belt in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and a unit-side guide portion to be engaged with the main body-side guide portion. The unit-side guide portion is provided not to protrude outward relative to the frame portion in the second direction.

A toner stirring device includes: a toner storage that stores toner; a stirring member that is rotated around a rotation axis to stir the toner inside the toner storage and extends to a radially outer peripheral side; and an elastic sheet that has one end fixed to a front side part in a rotation direction of the stirring member and extends to an outer peripheral side along the stirring member, wherein the elastic sheet includes a through hole at a position corresponding to a tip part of the stirring member, and the tip part of the stirring member passes through the through hole when the elastic sheet is rotated together with the stirring member in a state in which an outer peripheral side part of the elastic sheet contacts, on a more rear side in the rotation direction than the stirring member, an inner wall of the toner storage.
