The apparatus may comprise a first balloon that is formed of an elastic body to be capable of storing the fluid, a second balloon that is formed of an elastic body to be capable of storing the fluid, and has a larger contraction force than a contraction force of the first balloon, a support member that supports both of the first balloon and the second balloon, and a casing that houses the first balloon and the second balloon, and defines inflation ranges of the first balloon and the second balloon, in which the support member has a flow path formed to permit fluid communication between an interior of the first balloon and an interior of the second balloon.

The present invention is to enable avoidance of a reduction in external appearance quality, and stable driving, and prevent diffracted light from being discerned by avoiding a reduction in transmittance and a deterioration in liquid crystal alignment. A light control film is provided with: a first laminate in which an alignment layer is provided; a second laminate in which an alignment layer is provided; a liquid crystal layer which is sandwiched between the first and second laminates and contains liquid crystal molecules; a spacer disposed in the liquid crystal layer to hold the thickness of the liquid crystal layer; and electrodes provided in the first laminate and/or the second laminate, and controls transmitted light by controlling the alignment of the liquid crystal molecules driven by the electrodes. The proportion of an area occupied by the spacer per unit area in a light controllable-region of the liquid crystal layer is 0.1-10%.

A method for manufacturing a laminated glass whereby, in a laminated glass comprising a liquid crystal film sandwiched therein and having a three-dimensionally curved surface shape, the formation of wrinkles in the liquid crystal film can be suppressed; and a laminated glass which has a three-dimensionally curved surface shape and in which wrinkles in a liquid crystal film sandwiched therein are suppressed. The method for manufacturing the laminated glass comprises: a heat molding step for heating the liquid crystal film to a temperature higher than the glass transition point of the first base material layer and the second base material layer; and a bonding step for, after completing the heat molding step, heating the laminate, wherein the liquid crystal film is sandwiched between the first glass sheet and the second glass sheet, at a temperature lower than the glass transition point and bonding the same by applying a preset pressure.

The second liquid crystal member has second liquid crystal cells with changing orientation states, and a second absorption type polarizing member. When the reflection type polarizing member has transmitted polarized light, the second liquid crystal cells can be switched between a mode where the polarized light is blocked and a mode where the polarized light is transmitted.

The reliability of a spacer is improved in comparison to conventional ones. A light control film which is obtained by sandwiching a liquid crystal layer between first and second laminates that are provided with at least alignment layers and which controls light transmitted therethrough by controlling the alignment of liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer by driving electrodes that are provided on the first and second laminates. With respect to the first laminate, a base that is formed of a transparent film material is provided with a spacer that maintains the thickness of the liquid crystal layer. With respect to the first and second laminates, the Vickers hardness of the spacer is from 16.9 to 40.2 inclusive, and the Vickers hardness of a part of the second laminate, the part being in contact with the front end of the spacer, is from 11.8 to 35.9 inclusive.

A liquid crystal light control apparatus includes a liquid crystal light control film and power supply device that drives liquid crystal light control film. Liquid crystal light control film has a structure wherein liquid crystal layer is sandwiched between paired transparent electrode layers, and used by being adhered to a large transparent member. Power supply device supplies a predetermined AC voltage between terminals a and b of liquid crystal light control film. A condition |Z|&#x2264;&#x3b1;&#xd7;RF is set where RF is a DC resistance between terminals a and b of liquid crystal light control film, |Z| is an output impedance between terminals A and B of power supply device, and predetermined coefficient &#x3b1;=0.2. In order to protect power supply device, condition Vp/Imax&#x2264;|Z|&#x2264;&#x3b1;&#xd7;RF is set where Vp is output peak voltage of power supply device and Imax is maximum allowable current.
