An imaging processing apparatus according to one embodiment of the disclosure includes an extractor that extracts a feature quantity included in a captured image, and an object identifier that identifies an object on the basis of the feature quantity. The extractor extracts the feature quantity by executing, on the basis of the captured image, a convolution calculation using a filter including multiple filter values that are arranged two-dimensionally. The multiple filter values in the filter are set at respective values that are line-symmetric with respect to an axis of symmetry along a predetermined direction.

An image processing apparatus includes an extractor and an object identifier. The extractor is configured to extract a feature quantity included in a captured image. The object identifier is configured to perform identification of an object on the basis of the feature quantity. The extractor extracts a left feature quantity included in a left image of a stereo image and a right feature quantity included in a right image of the stereo image by executing a convolution calculation multiple times on the basis of the left and right images with securing horizontal symmetry between the left feature quantity and the right feature quantity, and executes, at the convolution calculation, a concatenation process of concatenating pixel values between the left feature quantity and the right feature quantity using a calculation process to secure the horizontal symmetry. An amount of a change in the phase of a current carried through the thin film with respect to the phase of the first modulation voltage is compared with a threshold.
