A vehicle control system includes an operation receiving unit and an automatic driving control processor. The operation receiving unit receives an operation at least through an electrical signal. The operation is to be performed by an occupant of a vehicle. The automatic driving control processor performs an automatic driving control of the vehicle, and causes transition from an automatic driving mode to a manual driving mode to be performed in a predetermined case. The automatic driving mode is a driving mode in which the automatic driving control is performed. The manual driving mode is a driving mode in which manual driving based on the operation received by the operation receiving unit is performed. The operation receiving unit has an interface state that is unchanged from a neutral state in a no-operation period in which the operation on the operation receiving unit is not received.

Vehicle control system and vehicle

A vehicle control apparatus is to be applied to a vehicle. The vehicle control apparatus includes one or more processors. The one or more processors configured to function as a target object detector, a road state detector, a speed calculator, and a braking controller. The target object detector is configured to detect a target object in front of the vehicle. The road state detector is configured to detect a road state of a road in front of the vehicle. The speed calculator is configured to calculate a non-stuck speed at which the vehicle does not become stuck on the road in front of the vehicle, when the target object is detected, the road in front of the vehicle is an uphill slope, and a road surface of the road satisfies a predetermined condition. The braking controller is configured to brake the vehicle to the non-stuck speed.

Vehicle control apparatus

A vehicle control system performs a first determination process to determine whether a first condition is satisfied, a second determination process to determine whether a second condition is satisfied, and a precedence process to gradually decrease a braking force of the vehicle by decreasing a braking force applied to a rear wheel preferentially over a braking force applied to a front wheel. The first condition includes at least a braking force condition that the braking force of the vehicle is greater than or equal to a predetermined braking force, and a turning condition that a turning degree of the vehicle is greater than or equal to a predetermined turning degree. The second condition is a condition that the vehicle is brought into a state where braking is to be cancelled while the first condition is being satisfied. The precedence process is performed when the second condition is satisfied.

Vehicle control system

A vehicle includes one or more processors. The one or more processors include a controller. The controller is configured to: perform an acceleration suppression control, in which the acceleration suppression control is configured to suppress acceleration of the vehicle based on pressing of an accelerator pedal of the vehicle performed by a driver who drives the vehicle; and cancel the acceleration suppression control, when two or more operation elements provided in the vehicle are operated by the driver.

Vehicle

An automatic brake control apparatus for a vehicle is configured to control a brake device of the vehicle in a control of a driving assist system of the vehicle. The automatic brake control apparatus includes electronic control units. The electronic control units include a first electronic control unit and are communicably coupled to each other and configured to exchange data with each other. The first electronic control unit is configured to control the driving assist system. The first electronic control unit is configured to send, to one or more of the electronic control units, an instruction that controls the brake device and that includes a first instruction for controlling a behavior of the vehicle and a second instruction that has an instruction content different from an instruction content of the first instruction.

Automatic brake control apparatus for vehicle

A vehicle includes: a brake mechanism configured to brake a wheel in accordance with a pressure of a brake fluid; a hydraulic circuit configured to adjust the pressure of the brake fluid and transfer the brake fluid to the brake mechanism; and a controller. The controller includes one or more processors to execute: a torque adjustment process of giving an offset to increase a required driving torque determined based on an operation amount of accelerator of the vehicle in a case where it is determined that the vehicle is in a stolen state; and a brake fluid pressure adjustment process of applying control to the hydraulic circuit to pressurize the brake fluid so as to compensate for an increase in the required driving torque due to the offset.

A brake device to be applied to a vehicle includes a housing, a piston, and a seal member. The housing has a first end that is closed. The housing includes a supply port configured to communicate with a reservoir tank. The piston has an outer peripheral surface, an inner peripheral surface and a through-hole extending from the outer peripheral surface to the inner peripheral surface. The piston is configured to generate a hydraulic pressure in a hydraulic chamber in the housing by moving toward a side of the first end inside the housing. The seal member is provided around the piston in a circumferential direction on the side of the first end with respect to the through-hole. The seal member is configured to seal between an inner peripheral surface of the housing and the outer peripheral surface of the piston.

Brake device

The vehicle control apparatus comprises one or more processors, one or more storage media storing a program to be executed by the one or more processors. The program includes one or more instructions. The one or more instructions cause the one or more processors to perform a brake control process in which, after a stroke of a predetermined amount or more is made to a brake pedal by a brake booster to apply brake fluid pressure to the brake mechanism to make the brake fluid pressure in a pressurized state in response to input of a predetermined signal corresponding to detection of theft of the vehicle, the stroke of the brake pedal by the brake booster is cancelled while a first valve disposed in a brake fluid pressure circuit is kept at a closed state to keep the pressurized state of the brake fluid pressure applied to the brake mechanism.

A vehicle control apparatus in a vehicle that includes left wheels, right wheels and brake mechanisms each provided for both. The apparatus includes one or more processors and one or more storage media storing a program causing a brake control process in which brake fluid pressure is applied to the brake mechanisms of one-side wheels, either left or right wheels, to bring the one-side wheels to a locked state under the condition including that the vehicle is in a stopped state or in a substantially stopped state through driver emergency control that is to be applied to the vehicle in response to detection of emergency of a driver who drives the vehicle.

A master cylinder device includes a reservoir tank, a master cylinder, a piston, and a pair of cup seals. The master cylinder includes a cylinder body having a cylinder chamber and a master port. The piston is inserted into the cylinder chamber, and has a relief port that communicates with the master port. The cup seals are provided on an inner circumference of the cylinder chamber, being positioned in front and rear of the master port, and seals a space between the inner circumference of the cylinder chamber and an outer circumference of the piston. The relief port is closed by the front cup seal, as the piston moves forward, to generate brake fluid pressure in a brake fluid in a hydraulic chamber. The relief port is tilted from a front side to a rear side, from the outer circumference toward an inner circumference of the piston.
