This curable composition can easily reinforce shaped objects and the reinforced shaped objects have good color developability and excellent texture. The curable composition includes a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester and a surface conditioner, in which the c content of the surface conditioner is 0.001-10 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester, and the surface tension of the composition is 28 mN/m or less at 25&#xb0; C. Preferred surface conditioners are silicone-based and fluorinated surface conditioners. Reinforced shaped objects and a method for reinforcing shaped objects using the curable composition are also provided.

To provide a 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition not only exhibiting an excellent adhesion rate to a metal and a thermoplastic elastomer low in polarity, but also being excellent in storage stability. A 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition containing a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester, and a compound having a sulfur atom-containing heteroallene structure.

2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition

There is provided a one-pack type room-temperature-curable 2-cyanoacrylate based composition having magnetism. The 2-cyanoacrylate based composition having magnetism is characterized by containing (a) a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester and (b) a magnetic powder dispersible in the 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester, wherein the content of the magnetic powder (b) is 5 to 500 parts by weight relative to 100 parts by weight of the 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester (a). The magnetic powder (b) is preferably a stainless steel.

Provided is a method for easily reinforcing a three-dimensional shaped object. The method for reinforcing a three-dimensional shaped object comprises reinforcing the three-dimensional shaped object using an impregnating composition containing a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester having a specific structure, said impregnating composition having a viscosity at 25&#xb0; C. in a range of from 1 to 1000 mPa&#xb7;s, and said impregnating composition having a Shore hardness D in a range of from 20 to 75 when being hardened. Preferably, the three-dimensional shaped object is formed of an inorganic powder.

Reinforcement method for three-dimensional shaped object

The two-part curable composition has excellent curability, and exhibits flexibility and adhesion durability. The two-part curable composition includes a first reagent containing at least a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester and a second reagent containing at least a polymer having a hydrolyzable silyl group, in which an elastomer and a curing catalyst for the above polymer are each contained in at least one of the first and second reagents in predetermined amounts. A preferable curing catalyst is a compound having a metal element and an organic group bonded to the metal element via oxygen, or an acid having a pKa of 4 or lower at 25&#xb0; C. Preferably, a curing accelerator for 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester is contained in at least one of the first and second reagents.

Provided is a curable resin composition which exhibits excellent curability and is good in storage stability. The curable resin composition comprises (a) a polymer having a hydrolyzable silyl group, (b) an acid catalyst, and (c) an onium salt represented by the following general formula (1):CA&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)

It is a 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition which includes (a) a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester and (b) an onium salt represented by the following general formula (1):CA-X&#x2003;&#x2003;(1)wherein, in formula (1), Crepresents an onium cation, Arepresents at least one anion selected from the group consisting of &#x2014;SO, &#x2014;OSOand a specific imide anion, X represents a linking group which connects at least two anions together, and n is an integer of 2 or more.

2-cyanoacrylate adhesive composition

Provided is an adhesive composition which is flexible, and exhibits excellent adhesion durability. The adhesive composition comprises (a) a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester, (b) a polymer having a hydrolyzable silyl group, (c) an elastomer, and (d) an acid catalyst, in which the contents of the components (b), (c), and (d) are from 5 to 200 parts by mass, from 5 to 50 parts by mass, and from 0.0005 to 0.5 parts by mass, respectively, relative to 100 parts by mass of the component (a). Further preferably, the composition contains 0.001 to 5 parts by mass of (e) an onium salt relative to 100 parts by mass of the component (a).

The present invention provides a latent fingerprint detection method that is easy to handle and is capable of clearly detecting a latent fingerprint and a heating evaporation device for detecting a latent fingerprint and a latent fingerprint detection apparatus which are capable of detecting a clear latent fingerprint by a one-time operation by heating a chemical agent at high temperatures in a short time, as well as a composition for detecting a latent fingerprint. This latent fingerprint detection method includes a heating step of heating a chemical agent to be gasified by heating so as to attach to a latent fingerprint on a specimen, and an exposure step of exposing the specimen having the latent fingerprint attached thereto to the atmosphere of the gasified chemical agent. The chemical agent is a mixture of a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester polymer and a dye.

A 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition includes a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester (a) and an onium salt (b) represented by general formula CA. In the formula, Cis an onium cation, and Ais a hydrogen sulfate anion, bisulfite anion, sulfonate anion represented by RSO(where Ris an alkyl group, perfluoroalkyl group having 3 to 10 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl group, vinyl group, aryl group, perfluoroaryl group, aralkyl group, or halogen atom), or bis(substituted sulfonyl)imide anion represented by (RSO)N(where Ris an alkyl group, perfluoroalkyl group, or aryl group).) The 2-cyanoacrylate-based adhesive composition has good storage stability and has an excellent adhesion rate to metals and thermoplastic elastomers.

A 2-cyanoacrylate-based composition comprises a coloring material that changes color with curing of 2-cyanoacrylate. The composition has good visibility and excellent workability as it is colored before curing, and changes color with curing as it becomes colorless or light-colored after curing, thereby providing bonded, filled or surface treated portions with good appearance.

2-cyanoacrylate-based composition, method and agent for evaluating curing thereof

A 2-cyanoacrylate composition comprising a cyclic phenol sulfide derivative. The composition has a high curing rate and is excellent in moist-heat resistance, surface curability and clearance curability.
