A motor control device includes a motor, a drive circuit, a current detection unit, and a control unit. The motor has a plurality of phases of motor windings. The drive circuit is provided on a low potential side of the motor windings. The current detection unit has current detection resistors corresponding to each phase, and is provided on a low potential side of the drive circuit. The control unit includes an actuator control unit and an abnormality diagnosis unit. The abnormality diagnosis unit determines that the current detection unit is abnormal, when a difference between a maximum current, which is a maximum value of the phase current when a same duty ratio is commanded to each phase, and a minimum current, which is a minimum value of the phase current when a same duty ratio is commanded to each phase, is equal to or greater than an abnormality determination threshold.

Motor control device

An ECU has a temperature detection unit that detects an actual temperature of the ECU, a temperature estimation unit that calculates an estimated temperature of the ECU, an abnormality determination unit for determining a presence or absence of a sign of abnormality, and a switching prohibition unit that prohibits the shift range switching in a predetermined case. The switching prohibition unit prohibits the shift range switching when there is no sign of abnormality in the temperature detection unit and the actual temperature is equal to or higher than a switching prohibition threshold, and prohibits the shift range switching when there is a sign of abnormality in the temperature detection unit and the estimated temperature is equal to or higher than a switching prohibition threshold. The temperature estimation unit calculates the estimated temperature based on a latest actual temperature in a normal period.

Shift range control device

A shift range control device includes an encoder count unit, an energization control unit, a learning unit, an energization phase count unit, and an abnormality determination unit. The encoder count unit calculates an encoder count value based on an encoder signal. The energization control unit controls energization to the motor. The learning unit learns a wall position that is the encoder count value when an engaging member abuts on the wall portion. The energization phase count unit calculates an energization phase count value that is counted according to switching of the energization phase. The abnormality determination unit determines an abnormality of the encoder based on the energization phase count value and the encoder count value before and after learning the wall position.

A shift controller for a vehicle includes a shift switching unit, a rotation restricting element, and an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit is configured to: acquire a count value corresponding to a degree of rotation of an actuator; set a rotational position of the actuator when the count value does not change by restricting rotation of the actuator using the rotation restricting element as a reference position of the actuator corresponding to the predetermined shift position; and interrupt setting the reference position of the actuator and restart setting the reference position of the actuator when the rotation of the actuator is restricted and a supply voltage to the actuator is equal to or lower than a predetermined first voltage determination value or a variation in the count value while the rotation of the actuator is restricted is equal to or greater than a predetermined value.

Shift controller for vehicle

In a case where an operation to a non-parking operation position is performed at the time when an engine stops at a parking position, an electronic control unit executes two controls, i.e., a change to a non-parking position and starting of the engine, simultaneously. At this time, in a case where the operation to the non-parking operation position is performed at the time when the engine is stopped at the parking position by stop-start system, a deceleration start timing of an electric actuator is made earlier in comparison with a case where the operation is performed at a time different from the above. Accordingly, even in a state where a voltage of the electric actuator is decreased, a motor rotation position can be easily stopped at a non-p target rotation position.
