In an oil filler cap, a valve part of a valve device is arranged in a range between a lower end of a screw part that is screwed to an oil filler opening part in a cap body and a seal surface that is arranged at a higher position than the screw part, a ventilation passage part is arranged above the valve part, and a ratchet mechanism is arranged on an outer circumferential side of the ventilation passage part.

Oil filler cap and saddle riding type vehicle

The intake device structure of the saddle riding vehicle includes a head pipe; a main frame that extends rearward from the head pipe; a seat rail that extends rearward from the main frame; sub-frames that connect the main frame and the seat rail to each other; a seat that is supported on the seat rail; and an intake device. The intake device includes an element that is inclined rearward as the element extends upward, and the element is also mounted underneath the seat rail in side view such that the element is located along the sub-frames.

Intake device structure of saddle riding vehicle

A plurality of parts that constitute an intake passage connected with an intake port of an engine include a constriction part that has a protrusion formed to protrude on an inner circumferential surface side of the intake passage. The constriction part includes cylindrical connections disposed on both sides of a constriction path in which the protrusion is formed. The constriction path has an outer circumferential surface recessed inwardly in a radial direction so as to follow a shape of the protrusion. A portion recessed most of the recessed outer circumferential surface is disposed inside inner circumferential surfaces of the connections in the radial direction. The constriction path has a uniform wall thickness. The constriction part is connected upstream of the throttle body.

Intake passage structure

A canister structure for a saddle riding vehicle, including a canister connected with a fuel tank using a connection line, the canister adsorbing fuel vapor generated in the fuel tank, and a purge valve disposed in a path through which the fuel vapor is returned from the canister to an air intake system of an engine, includes an annular canister rubber that fits over an outer cylinder of the canister; a canister stay disposed on a vehicle body side; and an engagement portion disposed on the purge valve. In the canister structure, the canister rubber has, formed on an outer periphery thereof, an anterior-side mounting portion and a posterior-side mounting portion each having an insertion hole in which the canister stay is inserted and a purge valve mounting portion having an engagement portion insertion hole in which the engagement portion of the purge valve is inserted.

Canister structure for saddle riding vehicle

In a saddle-ride type vehicle in which a cylinder head of a single-cylinder engine main unit has a front wall and a rear wall, an exhaust system being connected to the front wall and an intake system being connected to the rear wall, a joining surface of the cylinder head to a head cover is formed on a plane crossing a cylinder axis, the plane being inclined downward toward a front. Rotation axes of camshafts are arranged on the plane. An axis of a valve stem of a throttle valve is arranged on the plane. A curve cover curved so as to cover driven sprockets fixed to the camshafts is formed on one side in a vehicle width direction of the head cover. A drum housing box housing a throttle drum fixed to one end of the valve stem is arranged close to the curve cover.

Saddle-ride type vehicle

An air cleaner is disposed at the front part of an intake space below a seat. A battery box containing a battery is disposed on the rear side relative to the air cleaner in the intake space. The battery box is disposed with a rearward tilt and on the intake upstream side of the air cleaner and a corner part of the battery box at the lower front end thereof is disposed close to the air cleaner with the intermediary of a slight gap. The battery in the battery box is located in a flow of intake air sucked into the air cleaner and is efficiently cooled. The battery box includes an opening wherein part of the outer surface of the battery and a degassing part face the opening. An anti-diffusion cover part, continuous with an edge of the opening, covers the degassing part.

Motorcycle

A distal end portion of an injector is fitted into a mounting member. A fuel joint having a connecting pipe portion is connected to a proximal portion of the injector. A joint pressing member which restricts the displacement of the fuel joint in the direction away from the mounting member is fixed by fastening to the mounting member. The injector is fixed to the mounting member by restricting the displacement of the fuel joint by the joint pressing member.

Injector assembly

A fuel supply piping arrangement structure includes an internal combustion engine, an air cleaner attached to a seat rail, an intake air passage connecting the internal combustion engine to the air cleaner, and a pair of fuel injection valves attached, on downstream upstream sides, respectively, to an intake system including the air cleaner and the intake air passage. Fuel supply piping having one end connected to a fuel tank, and another end side connected to each of the fuel injection valves. Joint portions connected to the fuel supply piping are oriented to one side in a vehicle width direction. Connector portions of the fuel supply piping connected to the joint portions are oriented to another side in the vehicle width direction toward the joint portions. The fuel supply piping disposed along the intake system and connected to the fuel injection valves from the one side in the vehicle width direction.

Fuel supply piping arrangement structure for motorcycle

An intake system includes an air cleaner arranged behind the cross member with a shock absorber supporting portion supporting an upper end of a rear shock absorber unit connected to an engine main body in such a manner wherein a straddling portion is curved in a shape convex upwardly to straddle the cross member and also the shock absorber supporting portion from above. A fuel injection valve for the intake system is arranged in front of the cross member. An intake passage is formed to extend linearly downwardly and to the front toward an intake port at a downstream side of a straddling portion. An upper portion of a passage forming member forming at least a part of the straddling portion by forming an apex part of the straddling portion is provided with a second fuel injection valve attached with its fuel injection direction directed to the intake port.

Saddle ride type vehicle

An intake structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle for increasing the degree of freedom of the length of a duct associated with an intake air cleaner case disposed below a seat. An air taking-in port is provided in a lid member serving as a portion of an upper wall of an air cleaner case located below a seat. A concave portion is formed on an upper wall surface communicating with the taking-in port. The concave portion and a bottom plate of the seat facing the concave portion forms a pseudo duct-like intake passage communicating with the taking-in port. A side cover is provided with a stepped surface extending toward the inside of a vehicle from an external surface thereof. An opening, opened downwardly, is provided in the stepped surface to improvement in intake performance and to reduce dust and the like from entering.

Intake structure for saddle-ride type vehicle

A technique capable of suppressing a rise in the temperature of a shock-absorber. A motorcycle includes a swing arm having a front end swingably supported by a body frame. A shock-absorber includes a rear end supported by the swing arm via a link and an upper end supported by the body frame via a support hole. A cylindrical reserve tank is connected to the shock-absorber for reserving the hydraulic operating fluid flowing into the shock-absorber, the reserve tank is arranged such that an axis thereof is positioned above the axis of the support hole provided in the upper end of the shock-absorber and extends in the width direction of a vehicle.

Motorcycle and shock-absorber

An intake system for a vehicle includes a connecting tube disposed to bypass one side of a rear shock absorber. The capacity of the intake chamber is increased to achieve an improvement in intake performance and to reduce the influence of a liquid intake-spitting component on intake air. The connecting tube is formed to include a tubular main tube portion and a funnel portion installed integrally and consecutively with the main tube portion. The funnel portion has a funnel-shape that broadens as it nears the air cleaner with an opening of the main tube portion on the upstream end. An intake chamber serving as part of a purified-air chamber formed between the funnel portion and the cleaner case is formed at least below the main tube portion. A drain member is provided with the lower portion of the funnel portion to communicate with the lowest portion of the intake chamber.
