Provided herein is a flame retardant label suitable for labeling electrical devices. The disclose label includes a coating layer, a film layer, an adhesive layer, and, optionally, a liner layer. The coating layer and the adhesive layer may include flame retardants. The flame retardant label may also include channels that provide for air egress during application of the label.

Provided herein is a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) comprising two different acrylate polymers and a metal chelating agent to produce the PSA. The PSAs produced according to the methods described herein can be used under a broad range of working temperatures, i.e., from −99° C. to 40° C., e.g., −40° C. to 37° C. These PSAs demonstrate optimal tack and cohesiveness and/or resistance to warm water bath, when affixed to substrates.

PSA composition with ultra-low temperature performance

Provided herein is a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) comprising a polycrylate base polymer, a crosslinker and a fluorescer. The crosslinker does not comprise a metal acetylacetonate, a metal alkoxide, or an alkoxy-metal acetylacetonate, and the fluorescer comprises less than 0.1 wt. % metal oxide based on the solid weight of the adhesive. The adhesive is resistant to yellowing under adverse conditions such as high temperature treatment and/or exposure to UV.
