A connector housing comprises a body, an outside surface of the body having a pair of opposite mounting surfaces, a first contact surface, and a second contact surface, and a mounting portion disposed on each of the mounting surfaces. The mounting surfaces, the first contact surface and the second contact surface are perpendicular to each other. A distance between the mounting portion and the first contact surface is equal to a distance between the mounting portion and the second contact surface. The connector housing is interchangeably mounted with the first contact surface on a circuit board or with the second contact surface on the circuit board by a same mounting mechanism engaging the mounting portion.

A contact comprises a first cylindrical section, a second cylindrical section, and a transition section connected between the first cylindrical section and the second cylindrical section. The first cylindrical section has a first peripheral wall with a first diameter and a first protrusion rib disposed on the first peripheral wall. An electric connector, comprising: a housing, an insulation body received in the housing, and a plurality of terminals held in a plurality of slots of the insulation body. The insulation body comprises a first half body and a second half body separate from the first half body The first half body and the second half body are configured to be detachably assembled together. Therefore, when connecting cables in field, the insulation body may be separated into the first half body and the second half body first. Then the cables may be connected to the terminals held in the first half body and the second half body. The first half body and the second half body may be assembled together after the cables are connected. Using such a detachable insulation body provides larger operation space, thus easing connecting the cables to the terminals in the field.

An electrical connector is disclosed. The electrical connector has an insulation body formed with a receiving slot and a terminal disposed in the receiving slot. The electrical connector is matable with an identical electrical connector.

An electrical connector is disclosed having a first connector and a second connector. The first connector includes a first housing, a plurality of first terminals mounted in the first housing, and a first locking member positioned outside of the first housing. The second connector has a second housing, a plurality of second terminals complementary to the plurality of first terminals, and a second locking member positioned outside of the second housing and complementary with the first locking member.
