A coordinated fueling system satisfying thousand-second pulsed plasma discharge, including a gas puffing system, a supersonic molecular beam injection system, an ice pellet injection system, a fusion device, a gas puffing port of a wave antenna, a divertor and a plasma. The gas puffing system, the supersonic molecular beam injection system and the ice pellet injection system are provided at different positions of the fusion device to perform deuterium-tritium plasma discharge in a magnetic confinement fusion device. Through coordination of different moments, positions and fueling methods in plasma establishment and maintenance stages, of the stable thousand-second density control of the fusion device, boundary parameters adjustment of the plasma required for wave coupling and effective control of a heat flux of the divertor can be satisfied. A coordinated fueling method is also provided.

Coordinated fueling system and method satisfying thousand-second pulsed plasma discharge

A method of preparing a fusion reactor divertor component is provided. Outer vertical target plasma-facing units are pinned to an outer vertical target transition support. Outer horizontal target plasma-facing units are pinned to an outer horizontal target transition support. End bending tubes of the outer vertical target plasma-facing units are aligned with reserved holes in the outer vertical target transition support. The outer vertical target transition support, an outer transition block and the outer horizontal target transition support are fixed and positioned. A lower cover plate is welded with the transition block main body. An S-shaped cover plate is welded with the outer vertical target transition support. A lower cover plate is welded with the outer horizontal target transition support. A preliminary outer target assembly structure is formed and finish machined.

Method of preparing a fusion reactor divertor component

A magnetic confinement fusion reactor includes a host hall, and a host including a Dewar system, a cold shield system, a superconducting magnet system, a vacuum chamber system, a divertor system, a blanket system, a remote operation system, and a maintenance system. The superconducting magnet system includes a central solenoid magnet, a poloidal field magnet, and a toroidal field magnet. The central solenoid magnet is configured to provide necessary volt-seconds. The poloidal field magnet is configured to generate a poloidal magnetic field. The toroidal field magnet is configured to generate a toroidal magnetic field. The plasma is confined by the toroidal magnetic field and the poloidal magnetic field. The vacuum chamber system is provided with a neutron shielding block to protect the superconducting magnets from being damaged by fusion neutrons.

Magnetic confinement fusion reactor

A superconducting eddy-current brake for high-speed trains includes a pair of superconducting magnet units with alternate arrangement of N and S poles; and a cryogenic system. The superconducting magnet units are fixed on a bottom of a bogie of the train and an air gap is provided between the superconducting magnet units and a top surface of a rail below the bogie. The cryogenic system is provided on the bogie of the train. Each superconducting magnet unit is embedded with a superconducting container including a coil case, a thermal shield and a Dewar successively from inside to outside. The coil case is filled with liquid helium. A superconducting coil is provided in the coil case and immersed in the liquid helium. A high-vacuum environment is provided in the thermal shield. Liquid nitrogen inlet and outlet pipes are provided on an outer wall of the thermal shield.

Superconducting eddy-current brake for high- speed train

A superconducting magnet system and a cyclotron using the same. The superconducting magnet system includes a cryogenic device, a superconducting device and a protecting module. The cryogenic device includes a refrigerating machine and a cryogenic container assembly. The cryogenic container assembly includes a first container end, a connecting tube and a second container end. The first container end is communicated with the second container end through the connecting tube. The superconducting device includes a superconducting coil arranged in the first container end and immersed in a liquid or gaseous cooling medium. The protecting module is connected to the superconducting coil and is configured to protect the superconducting coil if the superconducting coil suffers a quench.

Superconducting magnet system for cyclotron and cyclotron comprising ihe same

A bifilar winding system for the manufacture of poloidal field superconducting magnets for nuclear fusion includes two superconducting coil winding production lines which are symmetrically arranged, a dropping fixture, a rotary platform and a winding mold, and an automatic control system. Each of the two winding production lines includes a conductor unwinding device, a straightener, an ultrasonic cleaning machine, a sandblasting and cleaning machine, a bending machine, an inter-turn insulation taping machine. During the winding of a coil, a superconducting conductor is unwound by the conductor unwinding device under the control of the automatic control system, then straightened, ultrasonically cleaned, sandblasted and cleaned, and bent into a desired radius, then wrapped with multiple layers of insulating tape by the inter-turn insulation taping machine, and finally fixed, by the dropping fixture, precisely on the rotary platform at a correct position within a profile of the winding mold.

Bifilar winding system for manufacture of poloidal field superconducting magnets for nuclear fusion

The present invention discloses an inter-layer transition forming machine for winding of a large-sized superconducting coil. A vertically movable forming mechanism and a horizontally movable forming mechanism are mounted on a fixing plate. When the winding of a large-sized superconducting coil performs inter-layer transition, an armored superconducting conductor is clamped by wedge clamping mechanisms with right- and left-handed threads on the vertically movable forming mechanism and the horizontally movable forming mechanism, and a reference line on the conductor is ensured to be aligned with a reference line on a forming mold. The vertically movable forming mechanism is pressed down, under the drive of a double-acting hydraulic cylinder, in a vertical direction to form inter-layer transition, and the horizontally movable forming mechanism moves in a horizontal direction according to the reduction of the vertically movable forming mechanism.

Inter-layer transition forming machine for winding of large-sized superconducting coils

A feed-through ultrasonic cleaning system for winding of a superconducting coil, including a sealed chamber system, a main ultrasonic cleaning system, a deionized water spraying system, a compressed air blow-drying system, and an automatic control system. During the winding of an armored superconducting coil, a superconducting conductor which is fed at a constant speed successively passes through a sealed chamber, an ultrasonic cleaning chamber, a first compressed air blow-drying chamber, a deionized water spray chamber, and a second compressed air blow-drying chamber in the ultrasonic cleaning system.

A superconducting magnet for eddy-current braking for a high-speed train. The superconducting magnet is fixed at a bottom of a bogie of the high-speed train through a connecting mechanism, and an air gap is formed between the superconducting magnet and a top of a guide rail below the bogie. The superconducting magnet after being excited generates an eddy-current effect with the guide rail of the high-speed train, so as to generate a braking force opposite to a traveling direction of the train, thereby braking the high-speed train. A liquid-level meter is provided on the superconducting magnet to detect a position of a cooling agent liquid level in real time. The superconducting magnet withstands vibration impact through elastic tie rod assemblies when the high-speed train is under operation, showing good adaptability.

A cylindrical joint for connecting sub-cables of a superconducting busbar includes a stainless steel shell, stainless steel pressure plates, first sub-cables, second sub-cables, copper saddles, a stainless steel support, indium coatings, stainless steel tapers. First and second sub-cables are supported by the stainless steel support. The first sub-cables and the second sub-cables are embedded into the grooves on the stainless steel support in sequence. The copper saddles are embedded into each of the grooves, and the indium coating is plated on both sides of the copper saddle, respectively. The stainless steel pressure plate is welded to the stainless steel support. The outer side of the joint is the stainless steel shell. The cylindrical joint of the disclosure has a low resistance, a lower AC loss, less materials, and a good cooling performance.

A deposition system for winding of a large-scale superconducting magnet coil. First and second conductor supports withstand the weight of a bent conductor and allow the conductor to be lowered down in spiral and be placed smoothly onto a rotary table. The rotary table bears the weight of coils, rotates according to a contour of the coil and forwarding speed of the conductor, and tracks the winding trajectory of the coil accurately, which avoids the extra stress induced onto the conductor. The conductor placed on the rotary table is reliably clamped by clamping fixtures and adjustable rod to ensure the conductors to be placed on correct radial and toroidal positions. After treated by the deposition system, the conductor is placed to a corresponding position on the rotary table smoothly and accurately to achieve a high-precision contour control of the coil.

Deposition system for winding of large-scale superconducting magnet coils

Disclosed is an insulation treatment method for a helium inlet pipe of a superconducting magnet. The superconducting magnet has a structure with varying T-shaped cross section. The irregular parts of the magnet are filled with G10 to reduce the difficulty in the insulation treatment caused by the irregular shape. Moreover, a skirt-shaped insulating material is provided around the metal conduit to overcome the reduction in the insulation electrical performance caused by the defects in the insulation treatment for such irregular parts. The application designs a sample structure for insulation treatment, and can wrap the superconducting magnet having the T-shaped varying cross-section with insulating materials before vacuum pressure impregnation, meeting special requirements of high-voltage insulation treatment for the superconducting magnet with a complex structure under low temperature and vacuum environment.
