A hydrophilic silica/polymer blend is provided comprising (a) a hydrophilic silica powder; and (b) a thickening polymer powder, comprising (i) structural units of Calkyl (meth)acrylate monomer; (ii) structural units of (meth)acrylic acid monomer; (iii) structural units of (methoxy) poly(ethylene glycol) (meth)acrylate monomer; and (iv) structural units of multiethylenically unsaturated monomer; wherein the weight ratio of hydrophilic silica powder to thickening polymer powder in the hydrophilic silica/polymer blend is 1:9 to 9:1. Also provided are personal care compositions containing same and methods of using same.

Hydrophilic silica/polymer blend

A fabric care composition is provided including water; a modified carbohydrate polymer having a weight average molecular weight of <500,000 Daltons and a Kjeldahl nitrogen content corrected for ash and volatiles, TKN, of ≥0.5 wt %; and a cleaning surfactant; wherein the modified carbohydrate polymer is a carbohydrate polymer functionalized with quaternary ammonium moieties; wherein the quaternary ammonium moieties on the modified carbohydrate polymer include: trimethyl ammonium moieties having formula (I) and dimethyl(alkyl) ammonium moieties having formula (II) wherein each R is independently selected from a Calkyl group.

Fabric care composition

A polymer/hydrophilic silica blend is provided comprising (a) a thickening polymer powder, comprising (i) structural units of Calkyl (meth)acrylate monomer; (ii) structural units of (meth)acrylic acid monomer, and (iii) structural units of a specialized associative monomer of formula (I) wherein Ris a linear saturated Calkyl group; and n is an average of 20 to 28; and (b) a hydrophilic silica powder; wherein the weight ratio of hydrophilic silica powder to thickening polymer powder in the polymer/hydrophilic silica blend is 1:9 to 9:1. Also provided are personal care compositions containing same and methods of using same.

Polymer/hydrophilic silica oil blend

A fabric care composition is provided including water; a cleaning surfactant; a fabric softening silicone; and a modified carbohydrate polymer having a weight average molecular weight of &#x3c;500,000 Daltons and a Kjeldahl nitrogen content corrected for ash and volatiles, TKN, of &#x2265;0.5 wt %; wherein the modified carbohydrate polymer is a carbohydrate polymer functionalized with quaternary ammonium moieties; wherein the quaternary ammonium moieties on the modified carbohydrate polymer include: trimethyl ammonium moieties having formula (I) and dimethyl(alkyl) ammonium moieties having formula (II) wherein each R is independently selected from a Calkyl group.

Fabric care composition comprising silicone and quaternary ammonium-functionalized carbohydrate polymer

Provided are personal care compositions including (a) hydrophobic ester oil, (b) at least one of a nonionic or anionic surfactant, and (c) one or more polymers containing polymerized structural units of (i) 79 to 95.74 weight % of C-C(meth)acrylate monomers, (ii) 0.5 to 5 weight % of (meth)acrylic acid monomer, (iii) 3.75 to 14 weight % of (methoxy) poly(ethylene glycol) methacrylates, and (iv) 0.01 to 2 weight % of at least one crosslinker.
