A linear compressor includes a shell having a first opening and a second opening defined at opposite ends of the shell, a compressor body including a cylinder and a piston accommodated in the shell, a support part that protrudes from an end portion of the compressor body toward the second opening, a supporting damper that extends from the support part toward an inner surface of the shell. The supporting damper includes a first portion that is coupled to the support part and that defines a single contact region between the support part and the supporting damper, and at least two second portions that extend from the first portion to the inner surface of the shell and that define at least two contact regions that are spaced apart from each other along the inner surface of the shell.

A linear compressor is provided that may include a shell, a cylinder accommodated into the shell and defining a compression space for a refrigerant, a frame to which the cylinder may be fixed, a piston that reciprocates within the cylinder in an axial direction and compresses a refrigerant supplied to the compression space, a discharge valve that discharges the refrigerant compressed in the compression space, a discharge cover coupled to the frame and defining a discharge space in which the refrigerant discharged from the compression space by opening of the discharge valve may be collected, a valve spring that supports the discharge valve, and a support integrally formed with the valve spring by insert injection molding and coupled to the discharge cover. The valve spring may define one or more holes filled with a molding liquid used to form the support in the insert injection molding of the support.

A linear compressor is provided that may include a compressor casing including a cylindrical shell and a pair of shell that covers both ends of the shell; a frame fixed to an inside of the shell; a cylinder accommodated in the shell and defining a compression space for a refrigerant; a piston inserted into the cylinder to linearly reciprocate in an axial direction of the cylinder and compress the refrigerant provided to the compression space; a motor assembly including a motor that provides power for a linear reciprocating motion to the piston, and a motor support that supports the motor; a spring that allows a resonant motion of the piston; a back cover that supports the spring; and a stopper provided in one of the pair of shell covers and contacting the back cover when the motor assembly vibrates in a radial direction of the cylinder, thereby preventing the motor assembly from colliding with the shell.

A linear compressor is provided. The linear compressor may include a suction valve with a plurality of wings. Each of the plurality of wings may include two first edge portions that extend in an outer direction of a fixing portion, and a second edge portion forming an outer circumferential portion of the wing. A distance between a first edge portion of a first wing among the plurality of wings and a second edge portion of a second wing among the plurality of wings gradually increases toward the outer direction of the suction valve.
