A display device includes a lower substrate including first and second pixel areas and a light shielding area surrounding the first and second pixel areas, a light emitting structure disposed on the lower substrate, an upper substrate disposed on the light emitting structure, a first color conversion layer disposed in the first pixel area on a bottom surface of the upper substrate, a second color conversion layer disposed in the second pixel area on the bottom surface of the upper substrate, first to third light shielding patterns disposed in the light shielding area on the bottom surface of the upper substrate, a groove defined on a bottom surface of at least one selected from the first to third light shielding patterns, and a spacer disposed in the groove.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A display device includes first and second light-emitting diodes in respective first and second emission areas, an encapsulation layer thereon, and including at least one inorganic encapsulation layer and at least one organic encapsulation layer, a color conversion-transmission layer on the encapsulation layer, and including a color conversion part to convert light emitted from the first or second light-emitting diodes into a different color, and a light blocking partition wall surrounding the color conversion part, first and second color filters on the color conversion-transmission layer, and respectively corresponding to the first and second emission areas, wherein respective first end portions of the first and second color filters are spaced from each other while overlapping the light blocking partition wall, and are partly covered with a third color material having a color that is different from the first and second color filters.

Display device

A display device includes a display panel, a wavelength control layer disposed on the display panel, a light control member disposed on the wavelength control layer, and a cover layer disposed on the light control member. The light control member includes an inorganic layer disposed on the wavelength control layer and having a first refractive index, a first light control layer disposed on the inorganic layer and having a second refractive index, a second light control layer disposed on the first light control layer and having a third refractive index, and a color filter layer disposed on the second light control layer. The first refractive index is greater than the second refractive index and is less than a refractive index of the wavelength control layer, and the third refractive index is greater than the second refractive index and is less than a refractive index of the color filter layer.
