A hearing test system includes a sound generating unit, an user interface, and a control unit. The sound generating unit is configured to generate a first testing sound at a frequency for a subject. The user interface is configured to receive a first feedback of the subject based on the first testing sound. The control unit is configured to determine whether the first feedback is of heard response or an unheard response. When the control unit confirms that the first feedback is of the heard response, the control unit drives the sound generating unit to generate a second testing sound based on a lower testing limit at the frequency, in which a volume of the second testing sound is less than or substantially equal to a volume of the first testing sound.

Hearing test system and method for determining credibility of a hearing test

A method for a hearing test includes receiving a first testing hearing threshold for a subject at a first frequency under a first background noise level; calculating a first testing signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) between the first testing hearing threshold and the first background noise level; responsive to the first testing SNR, receiving a first adjusted hearing threshold; and responsive to the first adjusted hearing threshold, modifying a first hearing test result of the first frequency.

A hearing test system includes an electronic device, a first assistive listening device, and a second assistive listening device. The electronic device is configured to generate a signal. The first assistive listening device is configured to detect a first intensity of the signal. The second assistive listening device spaced is apart from the first assistive listening device by a fixed distance and is configured to detect a second intensity of the signal. The electronic device is further configured to generate a distance adjustment signal based on the first and second intensities for adjusting a first distance between the first assistive listening device and the electronic device and adjusting a second distance between the second assistive listening device and the electronic device.

An assisting listening device having audiometry function includes an earphone, a testing signal generator, a feedback generator and a control box. The testing signal generator is controlled by a digital signal processor of the control box to provide a testing signal to a speaker of the earphone. The feedback generator will generate a feedback signal to the digital signal processor of the control box subject to the testing signal, enabling the digital signal processor to evaluate the user's hearing threshold level so that the user can adjust the functioning of the assisting listening device optimally subject to the evaluation result.
