Aspects of the technology relate to a cover (e.g., for a handheld electronic device). The cover may include a cover body configured for securement to a handheld electronic device and comprising an accessory attachment area, wherein the accessory attachment area includes a plurality of receivers, and wherein the accessory attachment area is configured for coupling with an accessory in at least one of a plurality of orientations. In some aspects, each receiver further includes a space recessed into the cover body that is bounded, at least partially, by a recess wall, wherein each receiver includes an engagement surface configured for abutting engagement with a projection associated with an accessory when the projection is disposed in a secured configuration within a respective space. A method for test strip recognition and interpretation is provided. The method includes the following steps. A plurality of test strips are provided, wherein the test strips are configured to examine a plurality of physiologic parameters respectively, and the test strips respectively have a plurality of color characteristics corresponding to the physiologic parameters respectively. A plurality of physiologic parameter examinations are performed to the corresponding test strips respectively, so as to obtain a plurality of test reactions. An image of the test strips is captured. The color characteristics and the test reactions of the test strips are obtained according to the image. The physiologic parameters examined by the test strips respectively are obtained according to the color characteristics. The physiologic parameters examined by the test strips are matched with the test reactions to obtain a plurality of physiologic parameter examination results.

Method for test strip recognition and interpretation

A system for physiologic parameter examination includes a housing and a test-strip tray. The housing includes a carrying cavity disposed on a top surface of the housing and including a window. The carrying cavity is configured to receive a portable electronic device having an image-capturing component. The image-capturing component corresponds to the window. The test-strip tray is movably disposed in the housing and located below the carrying cavity. The test-strip tray is configured to carry at least one test strip. The image-capturing component is adapted to capture a test reaction of the test strip through the window. A method for test strip recognition and interpretation applicable to the system is also provided.

A method for recognizing a printed map and an electronic apparatus using the same are provided. The method comprises the following steps. First, a picture of the printed map is obtained, and a block area surrounded by a road outline in the picture is defined. Next, at least one road name related to the road outline is recognized, and a map service is queried with the at least one recognized road name to find an electronic map having a map area corresponded to the block area in the map service. Afterwards, the block area in the picture is mapped to the map area in the map service.

Method, electronic apparatus, and computer-readable medium for recognizing printed map

The invention discloses a method, an electronic apparatus, and a computer readable medium for retrieving a map. The method includes the following steps. Firstly, a picture of a printed map is obtained. A block area surrounded by a road outline in the picture is defined. A map service is queried to find an electronic map having a map area corresponding to the block area according to contents of the printed map. A plurality of 3-D models of a plurality of buildings located in the map area is retrieved. The 3-D models are mapped on the picture.
