A method performed by a wireless communication device includes determining whether to transmit a first Sidelink Synchronization Signal (SLSS) according to a priority parameter when an occasion of the first SLSS collides with a Physical Sidelink Feedback Channel (PSFCH) that carries Sidelink Feedback Control Information (SFCI). The priority parameter is associated with a Physical Sidelink Shared Channel (PSSCH) that corresponds to the PSFCH.

Methods and apparatuses for collision control of sidelink communications in wireless communication system

A method for Radio Access Network (RAN) Notification Area (RNA) management for a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method receives a first Radio Resource Control (RRC) message having a first Radio Access Network (RAN) Notification Area (RNA) configuration. The method then stores the first RNA configuration, when the UE is in one of an RRC Connected state, an RRC Inactive state, or transitioning between the RRC Inactive state and the RRC Connected state. The method applies an RNA update procedure based on the first RNA configuration when the UE is in the RRC Inactive state.

Radio access network notification area configuration and management

Some of the present embodiments provide a method for search space monitoring by a user equipment (UE). The method includes monitoring a first search space and a second search space. The method may receive, from a serving base station, a search space monitoring (de)activation message, which is transmitted by the serving base station of the UE, by monitoring the first search space. The method deactivates the monitoring of the second search space based on the received search space (de)activation message. In some of the present embodiments, each of the first and second search spaces includes one or more physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates, and monitoring the first search space and the second search space comprises decoding the one or more PDCCH candidates in each of the first search space and the second search space.

Dynamic search space (de)activation in wireless communication systems

A method of performing a closed access group (CAG) selection in a non-public network (NPN) for a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes receiving, from a CAG cell, a first indication and a CAG identity via a System Information Block 1 (SIB1), reporting, by an Access Stratum (AS) layer of the UE, to a Non-Access Stratum (NAS) layer of the UE, the first indication and the CAG identity when a request from the NAS layer is received, and performing a cell selection or reselection procedure according to the CAG identity, wherein the first indication is associated with the CAG identity and indicates that the CAG identity is allowed to be selected manually even if the CAG identity is not included in an allowed CAG list of the UE.

Method of performing closed access group selection in non-public network and related device

A UE for performing mobility management is disclosed. The UE includes at least one non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-executable instructions, and at least one processor coupled to the at least one non-transitory computer-readable medium, and configured to execute the computer-executable instructions to: transmit, to a first network node, a RRC message indicating a required network slice/service of the UE, the required network slice/service uniquely identified by S-NSSAI; receive, from the first network node, a second RRC message including information of a second network node that supports the required network slice/service of the UE when the required network slice/service identified by the S-NSSAI is not supported by the first network node; and perform a mobility management procedure based on the information of the second network node received from the first network node when the required network slice/service is not supported by the first network node.

A method for radio access network (RAN) based notification area (RNA) update for a radio resource control (RRC)_INACTIVE user equipment (UE) in an RRC_INACTIVE state is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by the RRC_INACTIVE UE in the RRC_INACTIVE state, a first list of RAN area identities (IDs) from a first cell; receiving, by the RRC_INACTIVE UE in the RRC_INACTIVE state, identification information broadcast by a second cell, the identification information including a RAN area ID of the second cell and a cell ID of the second cell; and transmitting, by the RRC_INACTIVE UE in the RRC_INACTIVE state, at least one of an inactive-radio network temporary identifier (I-RNTI) and a cell ID of the first cell to the second cell, after determining that the RAN area ID of the second cell does not belong to the first list of RAN area IDs.

Mobility management for RRC_INACTIVE user equipment

Some of the present implementations provide a method for a first user equipment (UE) to deliver a sidelink measurement report to a second UE. The method receives sidelink measurement configuration through a PC5 radio resource control (RRC) connection between the first and second UEs. The method then generates the sidelink measurement report by monitoring at least one target resource pool allocated to the first UE via the sidelink measurement configuration and transmits the sidelink measurement report to the second UE through the PC5 RRC connection between the first and second UEs. The at least one target resource pool is associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) and the PC5 RRC connection between the first and second UEs is associated with a second RAT.

A method for a serving cell for signaling a communicating with a user equipment (UE) is described. The method may include transmitting, by the serving cell, a radio resource control (RRC) message to the UE. The RRC message may include a plurality of sets of parameters and a plurality of indices corresponding to the plurality of sets of parameters. The method may also include transmitting, by the serving cell, downlink control information (DCI) to the UE indicating an allocated resource block (RB) in a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) for the UE and an index corresponding to one of the plurality of sets of parameters to decode the allocated RB.
