A light-emitting diode driver includes a power switch, a logic unit and a pulse adjustment signal generator. The power switch is used to control a charging level of a light-emitting diode voltage terminal, and controlled to be turned on or off by a pulse-width modulation signal. The logic unit is coupled to a control terminal of the power switch, and used to generate a frequency control signal. The pulse adjustment signal generator is coupled to the logic unit, and used to generate an operational wave according to the frequency control signal and update the pulse-width modulation signal according to the operational wave. When the duty cycle of the pulse-width modulation signal is smaller than a pulse-width modulation threshold, the operational wave has a first frequency. When the duty cycle of the pulse-width modulation signal is larger than the pulse-width modulation threshold, the operational wave has a second frequency higher than the first frequency.

Light emitting diode driver having a logic unit for generating a frequency control signal

A source driving system includes first and second source driving integrated circuits. The first driving integrated circuit includes a first source driver for receiving first display data and driving pixels in a first block of a display panel according to the first display data. The second source driving integrated circuit includes a second source driver electrically connected to the first source driver for receiving second display data and driving pixels in a second block of the display panel according to the second display data. The first and the second source drivers generate first and second display parameters according to the first and the second display data respectively. The second display parameter is transmitted from the second source driver to the first source driver. The first source driver generates a third display parameter according to the first and second parameters and transmits the third display parameter to the second source driver.

Integrated source driving system

In accordance with revealed embodiments of the present invention, a source driver is provided, which is capable of providing a variety of polarity inversion patterns of source driving signals. Additionally, due to properly utilizing a multiplexing device and a switching device, hardware architecture of the inventive source driver is no more complicated than that of the conventional source driver. As a result, the present invention provides a source driver having the greater performance than the conventional source driver without increasing hardware cost and circuitry complexity.
