A backlight module includes a supporting plate, a light source module, and an optical modulation film. The light source module includes a plurality of light sources disposed on a supporting surface of the supporting plate. The optical modulation film is disposed above the light source module and has a plurality of light emitting holes. Light from the light source module is distributed by the optical modulation film and emitted via light emitting holes at different positions. The optical modulation film has a periphery area and a central area. An average perpendicular distance between the periphery area and the supporting surface is different from an average perpendicular distance between the central area and the supporting surface.

The present invention provides a backlight module with optical control film, comprising a light source module and an optical control film. The backlight module comprises at least one block corresponding to at least one light source. The projection position of the light source on the block is surrounded by first light emitting holes. The first light emitting hole of the optical control film has a first opening on a surface toward the light source module and a second opening on the other surface away from the light source module. The position of distal end of the first opening relative to the light projection position is further away from the light projection position than the position of distal end of the second opening thereof relative to the light projection position in the direction parallel to the optical control film.

Backlight module with optical control film

A direct-type backlight module and a lamp holder thereof are disclosed. The lamp holder includes a plurality of lamp seats, and a plurality of connecting arms each connected with at least one adjacent lamp seat. Each lamp seat has a retaining portion for retaining a corresponding lamp therein. Each connecting arm has a bendable portion that can be bent along a horizontal direction so as to adjust a distance between adjacent lamp seats. Therefore, the lamp holder of the present invention has a capability to retain several lamp groups spaced at different intervals for different LCD types or with lamp assembly tolerances, and thereby achieves a higher convenience in the LCD assembly.
