A projection apparatus, a power management apparatus, and a method for power management thereof are provided. The projection apparatus has a first power socket corresponding to a first power specification and a second power socket corresponding to a second power specification. The second power specification is different from the first power specification. A voltage detection unit is adapted to detect an input voltage received by a powered power socket, wherein the powered power socket is the first power socket or the second power socket. A control unit decides whether the input voltage detected by the voltage detection unit is matched up with the power specification of the corresponding powered power socket to determine an operation mode of the projection apparatus and to determine whether the projection apparatus provides an alarm message to ensure safety of use.

Projection apparatus, power management apparatus, and method for power management thereof

A light source module and a projection apparatus including the light source module, a light valve, and a lens are provided. The light source module includes a cover, a light emitting device, a lead wire, a trigger wire, and at least one fixing wire. The light emitting device is partially disposed in the cover and includes a light source and a first pillar, wherein the light source is connected to the first pillar and provides an illumination beam. The lead wire is connected to the light source and is position-limited between the cover and the first pillar. The trigger wire is disposed on the first pillar and is electrically connected to the lead wire. The fixing wire is position-limited between the cover and the first pillar. One end of the fixing wire is connected to the first pillar, and another end of the fixing wire is position-limited to the cover.

Projection apparatus and light source module having fixing wire

A lens-adjusting module includes a base, a lens device, a second tray, and an adjusting device. The lens device includes a first tray and a lens being fixed to and contacting the first tray. The first and the second trays are movably disposed on and contact the base. The first tray is movably disposed on the second tray and located between the second tray and the base. The adjusting device includes a first lever and a second lever pivoted to the base. A part of the first lever and a part of the second lever are slidingly disposed on the first tray. The first lever rotates to drive the first and the second trays to move relatively to the base along a first axis. The second lever rotates to drive the first tray to move relatively to the second tray and the base along a second axis.

Lever actuated lens adjustment module

A lens adjusting device including a frame, a lens, a base, at least a positioning structure, and a locking device is provided. The lens is fixed on the frame. The base has a through hole with a predetermined shape formed thereon. The positioning structure is disposed on the base for movably positioning the frame on a plane above the base. The locking device including a screw, a nut, and a fixer is capable of fixing the frame to the base. The screw penetrates the frame and extends to below the base through the through hole of the base. The size of the through hole is greater than the size of a corresponding cross-section of the screw. The nut is disposed below the base and assembled to the screw to position the screw on the base. The fixer is disposed on the frame to constrain the rotation of the nut.

Lens adjusting device of projector

A position adjustment device for an integration rod includes a fixed plate, two resilient members, and two adjusting screws. The first resilient member is positioned between the fixed plate and the rod for exerting an elastic force on the rod in a first direction, and the second resilient member is positioned between the fixed plate and the rod for exerting an elastic force on the rod in a second direction different from the first direction. The first adjusting screw is inserted through the part of the housing and has a first end surface that presses against one side surface of the rod opposite the first resilient member. The second adjusting screw is inserted through the part of the housing and has a second end surface that presses against one side surface of the rod opposite the second resilient member. The first and the second end surface are arc surfaces.

Position adjustment device for integration rod

A lens adjusting device of a projector is provided. The lens adjusting device has a base, a frame, and at least one positioning structure. A lens is fixed on the frame. The positioning structure is utilized for movably setting the frame on the base. The positioning structure has a groove, a slider, and a positioning unit. The groove is disposed on the frame. The slider is disposed in the groove and has a guiding hole defined therein. The extending direction of the guiding hole is substantially perpendicular to the extending direction of the groove. The positioning unit is slidably disposed in the guiding hole and penetrates the guiding hole to set the frame and the slider on the base.

A rear projection television includes a casing with a space therein and a plurality of modular units. A plurality of maintenance holes are formed through the casing to communicate with the space. The modular units are positioned in the space to correspond to the maintenance holes. When one component inside the casing needs repairing, only a lid covering the corresponding maintenance hole is dismounted for the user to quickly take the component out, without moving the casing. Thereby, the repair process is simplified with saved repair labor and space.

Easy-maintain rear projection television

An exhausting structure used in a rear projection TV has a ventilating chamber inside a casing of the TV to separate an optical engine from the casing. A fan is mounted in the ventilating chamber near the optical engine to ventilate the heat from the inside of the TV via a conduit and an outlet. The fan is isolated from outside of the TV to reduce any noise generated from the fan.

Exhausting structure for rear projection television

An adjusting apparatus for projection comprises a carrier having a central screw hole and three rounded indentations around central screw hole, an adjusting frame having a plane section and a base section, and a holder. The center of the plane section has a circular concave dug a hole with a smaller aperture. A ball bearing is accommodated in the circular concave. The plane section of the adjusting frame has three screw holes corresponding to the rounded indentations. Three angle-adjusting bolts respectively insert through the screw holes to abut against the rounded indentations. Rotating the angle-adjusting bolts relative to each other varies the length of the angle-adjusting bolts calculated from the plane section of the adjusting frame to the carrier. Thereby, an angle adjustment of a mirror is achieved.
