An antenna structure with wide radiation bandwidth in a reduced physical space includes a metallic housing, a first feed portion, and a second feed portion. The metallic housing includes a metallic side frame and a metallic back board. The metallic side frame defines a slot, and first and second gaps. The metallic side frame between the first gap and one end of the slot forms a first radiation portion. The second gap divides the first radiation portion into first and second radiation sections. The first feed portion feeds current and signal to the first radiation section, and the first radiation section works in a GPS mode and a WIFI 2.4 GHz mode. The second feed portion feeds current and signal to the second radiation section, and the second radiation section works in a WIFI 5 GHz mode.

Antenna structure and wireless communication device using same

An antenna structure includes a metal frame, a feeding portion, and a first ground portion. The metal frame is provided with a slot, a first gap, a second gap, and a third gap. The first gap, the second gap, and the third gap are coupled to the slot, and the slot, the first gap, the second gap, and the third gap divide the metal frame into a radiating portion and a first coupling portion. A portion of the metal frame between the first gap and the third gap form the radiating portion, and a portion of the metal frame between the second gap and the third gap form the first coupling portion. The feeding portion is electrically coupled to the radiating portion to feed an electric signal to the radiating portion. The first ground portion is electrically coupled to the radiating portion to provide ground to the radiating portion.

Antenna structure and wireless communication device

An antenna structure with wide radiation bandwidth in a reduced physical space includes a housing, a connection capacitor, and a feed portion. The housing defines at least one gap and a slot dividing the housing into a first radiation portion, a second radiation portion, and a third radiation. The connection capacitor bridges the first gap, connecting the first radiation portion and the second radiation portion. The feed portion is electrically connected to the first radiation portion. The current flows through the first radiation portion and towards the second radiation portion through the connection capacitor. The current is further coupled to the third radiation portion to generate radiation signals in different frequency bands.

An antenna structure includes a housing, a feed portion, a ground portion, a first radiator, and a second radiator. The housing includes a first radiating portion and a second radiating portion. The first radiator and the second radiator are both positioned in the housing. When the feed portion feeds current, the current flows through the first radiating portion and is grounded through the ground portion to activate a first operating mode. When the feed portion feeds current, the current is further coupled to the first radiator through the first radiating portion, and the first radiator activates a second operating mode. When the second radiator feeds current, the second radiator activates a third operating mode. When the second radiator feeds current, the current is further coupled to the second radiating portion through the second radiator, and the second radiating portion activates a fourth operating mode.
