An access control system and an access control method thereof are provided. The access control system comprises a handheld device, an access control server and a terminal recording device. The handheld device has a user identification. The access control server is configured to store a user identification set, connect to the handheld device within a first time interval, determine that the user identification is included in the user identification set, generate a one-time password (OTP) seed set, and transmit the OTP seed set to the handheld device. The terminal recording device connects to the handhold device within a second time interval, and performs a two-way identification certification with the handheld device according to the OTP seed set so that the handheld device performs a data access to the terminal recording device after achieving the two-way identification certification.

Access control system and access control method thereof

A wireless communication apparatus, system, method and computer readable medium therefor for transmission between a parent node and a child node are provided. The child node transmits a first packet to the parent node via point-to-point transmission. When the parent node tries to transmit a second packet to the child node, a synchronization signal is transmitted first and then the second packet is transmitted to the child node via broadcast transmission after a certain period. If the child node fails to receive the second packet during the certain period, the child node sends a signal to the parent node. The parent node re-transmits the second packet to the child node via point-to-point transmission.

Method and apparatus for efficient data broadcast within beaconing network

A method and a system for indoor positioning are provided. In the present method, a default positioning weight is defined at first. Then, a plurality of neighboring ranging devices near a target device is obtained from all wireless ranging devices deployed in an indoor space, and a current positioning weight of each of the neighboring ranging devices is calculated. Next, the current positioning weight of each of the neighboring ranging devices is respectively compared with the default positioning weight, so as to obtain a plurality of reference ranging devices from the neighboring ranging devices. After calculating at least one candidate coordinate according to a deploy coordinate of each of the reference ranging devices, a positioned coordinate represents the current location of the target device is estimated according to the at least one candidate coordinate.

Method and system for indoor positioning

A node apparatus and an adjusting method of a quantity of nodes for a sensor network and a tangible machine-readable medium thereof are provided. The sensor network comprises a plurality of groups, wherein each group has a plurality of nodes. For each group, one of the nodes is set to be a gate node, and each node within the group transmits at least one data of itself to the corresponded gate node. Each gate node calculates a data aggregation time based on a data length per unit time of received data and a predetermined packet length, so that each gate node is able to adjust the quantity of nodes within the group thereof accordingly.

Node apparatus, node quantity adjustment method, and tangible machine-readable medium for a sensor network

A packet transmission system, a packet transmission method, a packet update method, a host apparatus, and a computer program product thereof for the packet transmission system are provided. The packet transmission method comprises the following steps: transmitting a first positioning packet that has a first message serial number; receiving the first positioning packet; generating a temporary packet that has a second message serial number; determining that the first message serial number is smaller than the second message serial number; transmitting the temporary packet; receiving the temporary packet and updating the first message serial as the second message serial number; and transmitting a second positioning packet that has the second message serial number. Thereby, the system not only prevents repeat transmission, but also enhances positioning reliability by using two-way transmission.

Packet transmission system, packet transmission method, packet update method, host apparatus, and computer program product thereof for the packet transmission system

A network address assigning and allocating method and a routing method for a long-thin wireless network are provided. First, a plurality of nodes in the long-thin wireless network is classified into a plurality of clusters, in which nodes ranging from a child node of a bridge node to a next bridge node are classified as the same cluster. Then, a network address is assigned to each of the nodes, in which the network address includes a cluster ID and a node ID, the cluster ID is used for identifying the clusters and for routing a packet between the clusters, and the node ID is used for identifying the nodes in each of the clusters and for routing a packet in the cluster. Thereby, the routing and network transmitting efficiency of the long-thin wireless network can be improved.

Network address assigning and allocating method and routing method for long-thin wireless network

A power-saving wireless network, a packet transmitting method for use in the wireless network, and computer readable medium therefor are provided. The wireless network comprises a PAN coordinator, a receiving node and a transferring node. When the transmitting node has a packet planed to be transmitted to the receiving node which is in a sleep mode, the packet is alternatively transmitted to the PAN coordinator. As soon as the receiving node wakes from the sleep mode, all packets are transmitted to the receiving node from the PAN coordinator. After the packets are all successfully transmitted, the receiving node turns back to the sleep mode subsequently. Thereby, the performance of the wireless network would not be restricted to the sleep period and memory capacity. Thus, the nodes in the wireless network would greatly facilitate saving power.

Power-saving wireless network, packet transmitting method for use in the wireless network and computer readable media

A method, a network apparatus, and a tangible machine-medium thereof for detecting a looping network packet are provided. A receiving module receives a network packet. A memory stores a routing table comprising an address related variable, a sequence number related variable and a radius related variable. A determining module determines whether the network packet is a looping network packet by comparing the parameters of the routing table with those of the network packet. With these arrangements, the routing loop caused by transmission of the network packets can be detected using current network structures.

Method, network apparatus, and tangible machine-readable medium thereof for detecting a looping network packet

A network address assignment method and a routing method for a long thin ZigBee network are provided. The routing method includes the following steps. A network address is assigned to each node of the ZigBee network, wherein each network address includes a cluster ID and a node ID. The cluster ID is used for identifying a plurality of clusters of the ZigBee network. The Node ID is used for identifying a plurality of nodes of each cluster. When a packet is transmitted, check whether the current node holding the packet and the destination node are in the same cluster. If they are in the same cluster, the packet is routed within the cluster according to the node ID of the destination node and a predetermined algorithm. If they are not in the same cluster, the packet is routed among the clusters according to the cluster ID of the destination node.

Network address assignment method and routing method for a long thin zigbee network

A communication apparatus originally transmits data packets via a first channel based on a first beacon interval. A memory thereof records the first beacon interval. A receiving interface thereof receives information of a second channel. A processor thereof determines whether the second channel has been used according to the information. If not, a transmission interface thereof switches the communication channel to the second channel, and transmits data based on the first beacon interval via the second channel in order to solve the problem that packets are delay for transmission or even abandoned due to overload of the beacon network.
