A projector includes a polarization conversion system and a reflective polarizer. The polarization conversion system receives unpolarized light including first S-polarized light and first P-polarized light, wherein the first S-polarized light passes through the polarization conversion system, a part of the first P-polarized light is converted into second S-polarized light after passing through the polarization conversion system, and another part of the first P-polarized light remains unchanged after passing through the polarization conversion system. The reflective polarizer allows the first S-polarized light and the second S-polarized light to pass through and reflects the first P-polarized light back to the polarization conversion system.

Projector

A projection lens, in order along an optical axis from an image formation side to an image source side, includes a first lens, an aperture, a second lens, a third lens, and a fourth lens. The first lens is a meniscus lens with positive refractive power and a convex surface thereof facing the image formation side, and has at least an aspheric surface. The second lens is a biconcave lens with negative refractive power, and has at least an aspheric surface. The third lens is a biconvex lens with positive refractive power, and the fourth lens is a biconvex lens with positive refractive power, and has at least an aspheric surface. Therefore, the projection lens has a small size and high zoom ratio.

Projection lens

A light source module of a projector includes a beam splitter, a red light source, a blue light source, and a blue light source. The beam splitter has a first reflection side, on which a first splitter film is provided, and a second reflection side, on which a second splitter film is provided. An angle between a normal line of the first reflection side, and a normal line of the second reflection side, is in a range between 165 degrees and 180 degrees. Both the first splitter film and the second splitter film permit red rays to pass therethrough. The red light source is separated from the blue and green light sources to obtain a better thermal dissipation.

An anti-dust structure for a sliding block of a linear guideway comprises a sliding block, two end caps, plural rolling elements, a flexible anti-dust strip and a rail. The two end caps are assembled to both ends of the sliding block, the rolling elements are disposed on the rail. Between the end cap and the sliding block is defined a circulating path. The two end caps are each extended from an inner side thereof to form a linking portion, and the two linking portions of the two end caps are linked to each other to define an endless positioning groove including two longitudinal grooves and two transverse grooves. The flexible anti-dust strip is disposed in the positioning groove of the end caps and integrally formed with protruding lip portions for cooperating with the two longitudinal grooves.

Anti-dust structure for a sliding block of a linear guideway

A rolling element chain system for a linear guideway comprises a slide rail, a slide block, a plurality of rolling elements and a rolling element chain. The circulating path of the slide block is interiorly provided with a guiding groove with a width C, and the rolling elements roll within the circulating path and are confined by the rolling element chain. The rolling element chain has a plurality of spacers for separating the rolling elements from one another and linking portions with a thickness t for linking the rolling elements with one another. The spacer at each end of the rolling element chain has a retaining capacity B for holding the corresponding rolling element. The above structure satisfies the relation: C&#x3c;t+B/&#x3c0;.

A synchronous spacer with a guiding block comprises strip-shaped links, a plurality of spacer elements, and a guiding block fixed at the end of the links. An arch-shaped surface is formed on the guiding block and is located correspondingly to inner surface of the track of the linear guideway, the guiding block is larger than spacer element of the synchronous spacer but is smaller than the rolling elements. With the guidance of the guiding block, the synchronous spacer is prevented from impacting the inner surface of the track, enabling the linear guideway to move smoothly and stably.
