An antenna module and an electronic device using the same. The antenna module includes a metal body bent from a I strip metal sheet. The metal body includes a first connecting part, a second connecting part and a plurality of bending parts. The first connecting part and the second connecting part are coupled to a circuit board. The bending parts are formed between the first connecting part and the second connecting part.

The invention relates to a mobile electronic device, and in particular, to a mobile electronic device with a camera ring serving as an antenna. A mobile electronic device comprises an RF module, a camera lens, and a camera ring. The RF module disposed inside of the mobile electronic device is utilized to process an RF signal. The camera ring disposed on a peripheral of the camera lens and connected with the RF module is utilized to transmit or receive the RF signal to the RF module.

A multi-band antenna includes a bent flat copper antenna forming a radiation surface to provide GSM-850/900/1800/1900 or GPS multi-band applications, and an auxiliary antenna coupled to the radiation surface provide WCDMA-2100/UMTS-2100 multi-band applications. The radiation surface and the auxiliary antenna are coupled to generate the required bandwidth for multiple radiation bands and to optimize the gain of radiation, so that the multi-band antenna can provide a broad range of services.

Miniaturized multi-band antenna

A monopole antenna apparatus with dual purposes of being a multi-band mobile phone and a global positioning system. The antenna is formed on a substrate, and the substrate comprises a flat surface, a cambered surface, a first radiating metal line, including one high-frequency resonant path and one low-frequency resonant path, a second radiating metal line, a first feeding point, and a second feeding point. The high-frequency resonant path and the low-frequency resonant path for receiving and transmitting the signals of the multi-band mobile phone system are formed on the flat surface and the cambered surface separately, and both are connected to the first feeding point. The second radiating metal line for receiving the signals of the global positioning system is formed on the cambered surface and is connected to the second feeding point.

Dual purpose multi-brand monopole antenna

A multi-band antenna of compact size includes a conductor of uniform cross-section folded to form the antenna with a connection portion, a low-frequency first radiation portion, and a high-frequency second radiation portion. The connection portion has a feeding point for signal feeding. The first and second radiation portions connect to two ends of the connection portion. The first radiation portion is folded along two different planes to form three main sections. The second radiation portion is folded along a plane to form two sections. A terminal section of the first radiation portion and a terminal section of the second radiation portion are parallel, such that radiation of these two sections is coupled to enhance radiation characteristics of the antenna. Also, the folded structure helps to achieve compact size of the antenna.

Multi-band antenna of compact size

An antenna structure for operating multi-band system is disclosed. The antenna structure at least comprises a first radiation metal wire and a second radiation metal wire. These radiation metal wires send signal through the same feed point and provide a ground surface. The radiation metal wires are embedded into the circuit board having a hole. The design avoids the complexity of the antenna structure, reduces cost, and improves production capabilities. The length of the first radiation metal wire is bigger than the second radiation metal wire for using in a low frequency operating band and the second radiation metal wire is used in a high frequency operating band. These radiation metal wires can be fixed into the hole of the circuit board. The entwining of the radiation metal wires can bend according to a space provided by a case. Therefore, the antenna structure can be protected by the case without damages from outside forces.

A mobile communication apparatus includes a printed circuit board (PCB) and a global positioning system (GPS) antenna. The GPS antenna is made of a metal sheet, and vertically inserted into the PCB.

A miniature monopole antenna used in a wireless communication system. The monopole antenna has a radiation body, a feeding point and a short point. The radiation body has a plurality of slits alternatingly arranged at two opposite edges of the radiation body, and every slit is perpendicular to the sides of the radiation body and extends toward the inner of the radiation body. The radiation body resonates with a signal of a predetermined frequency, and is connected to the signal processing unit via the feeding point. In addition, the operational stability can be enhanced when the short point is grounded.
