An electronic device includes a display unit and a main unit having a separable module and a base. The separable module is provided along two opposite shorter edges with a plurality of hooking elements, and has at least one carrier member located on one side of the separable module. The base includes a plurality of retaining slots corresponding to the hooking elements, and at least one magnetic element located on one side of the base facing toward the carrier member. To cover the separable module onto the base, first cause the carrier member to be magnetically attracted to the at least one magnetic element and align the hooking elements with the retaining slots, and, then, move the separable module for the hooking elements to engage with the retaining slots, so that the separable module is held to the base.

The present invention discloses a data processing device and a motherboard thereof. The feature of the present invention is separating the motherboard thereof into two daughter boards. The first daughter board is fixed to the data processing device, and the second daughter board is connected to the first daughter board through a connector. The units that frequently be changed, such as a data processing component and data storing component, are disposed on the second daughter board. Besides, a hard disk signal bus of the data processing device, an optical disk drive signal bus, or a screen signal bus may be electrically connected to the first daughter board. As a result, when the data processing device is under maintenance or upgrade, the second daughter board can be removed without removing the casing, and also the plug-in and plug-out frequency of the connectors can be lower.

A display processing construct utilized in information device, discloses a first and a second display processing devices. The display signal outputs from the first and second display processing devices are against the switches separately, wherein the switching of switches are utilized to choose or control the delivery of display signal from the first or the second display processing devices to the displayer. Further a selector is used to control or choose the contact of the switch of the first or second display processing devices so as to deliver the display signal from the first or the second display processing devices to the displayer and contain the power supply module to offer the power to said selected display processing device. The user can choose the appropriate display processing device according to the desirable effectiveness of the displaying and further advance the function of the information device and save the power of the battery.
