A bezel mounting assembly includes a bezel (), a front panel () defining a pair of apertures (), and a locking device () attached to the bezel for securing the bezel to the front panel. The bezel includes a pair of pillars () and a pair of blocks () having a pair of posts (). The locking device includes a pair of symmetric side plates () defining through slots () for slidably receiving the posts, a pair of resilient arms () extending from the side plates, an operating member (), and a pair of catches (). The locking device is slidably attached on the blocks, with the posts engagingly received in the through slots. The resilient arms are secured to the pillars at free ends thereof. The operating member is moved vertically so as to drive the catches to engage in and disengage from the apertures of the front panel.

Bezel mounting assembly with slidable lock member

A power supply mounting apparatus includes a chassis (), a mounting board () attached to the power supply, and a mounting bracket (). The chassis includes a rear panel () with an opening (), and first and second side panels (). The mounting board forms a pair of mounting hooks () at each side thereof. The mounting bracket includes two mounting portions () and a connecting portion (). Each mounting portion defines slits () and locking holes (). The rear panel forms catches slidably engaging in the locking holes. After the power supply slides in the chassis with the mounting hooks extending in the corresponding slits, the mounting bracket is moved horizontally so that the hooks hook the rear panel. The second side panel is attached to the chassis to prevent the mounting bracket from leaving the chassis.

Mounting apparatus for power supply

A mounting apparatus includes a chassis (), a fixing member () and a drive bracket (). The chassis includes a front panel () defining an opening () and a through hole () therein. The fixing member includes a main body () mounted to the chassis. The main body includes a fixing part () formed upwardly therefrom, an operation part () extending forwardly, and an elastic hook () extending rearwardly therefrom. The drive bracket includes a mounting wall (or). The mounting wall comprises a stop () formed downwardly therefrom and an aperture (). Mounting apparatus for data storage devices

A bezel mounting assembly includes a front panel (), a first operating member (), a bezel () and a second operating member (). The panel defines a plurality of slots (). The first operating member is pivotally engaged with the panel, it includes a handle (), the handle is connected with a pushing portion (). The bezel forms a plurality of hooks (), one pair of hooks for primary connection respectively include a guiding block (). The second operating member is rotatablely mounted to the bezel, it includes a driving portion () with a convex cam portion (). Bezel mounting assembly

A bezel mounting assembly of the present invention includes a bezel (), a front panel () defining a pair of first slots () therein, and an arc-shape resilient member () attached to the bezel for detaching the bezel from the front panel. The bezel includes a pair of first hooks () corresponding to the first slots of the front panel. A pair of retaining pieces () is formed on the bezel and each defines a sliding slot () therein. A cutout () is defined in a bottommost portion of the bezel. The resilient member includes a pressing portion (). A number of protrusions () are formed on the resilient member and are received in the corresponding sliding slots of the bezel. The pressing portion is pressed to drive the first hook outwardly; the first hooks are thereby disengaged from the first slots of the front panel.

An expansion card retention apparatus includes a rear panel (), first and second retention brackets (), and a side panel (). The rear panel defines a number of expansion slots () for receiving expansion cards () therein respectively, an opening, and a pair of hook openings adjoining the opening. The first retention bracket is rotatable in the opening between first and second positions, and includes a pair of hooks (). The second retention bracket defines a number of flexible tongues (). The first and second retention brackets are together rotated to the second position such that the flexible tongues engage corresponding expansion cards, and the hooks engages in corresponding hook openings of the rear panel. The side panel is attached to the rear panel for holding the first and second retention brackets in place. The expansion cards are thus securely attached to the rear panel.

Expansion card retention apparatus

A hard disk mounting assembly includes a chassis (), a first cage () mounted to the chassis, a hard disk drive() (HDD) and a second cage (). The HDD defines a plurality of fixing openings (). The first cage includes a plurality of mounting pillars () resilient connected with the cage and received in the fixing openings of the HDD at one end portion. The first cage further defines a pair of engaging apertures () at opposite sides thereof. The second cage has a base () and two connecting arms () depending from the base. the base forms a plurality of elastic fingers (). The first cage is mounted to the chassis and the HDD is received in the first cage, the second cage hitches the first cage by the connecting arms with the elastic fingers pressing the HDD, thereby mounting the HDD to the chassis.

Hard disk mounting assembly

A heat sink assembly includes a plurality of fins (), a pair of ducts (), and a frame () receiving the fins and the ducts therein. Each fin defines a pair of through holes () therein. A tapered tab () and a plurality of locating tabs () extend from each fin around a periphery of each through hole. A pair of locating portions () extends horizontally from opposite ends of each fin, for forming intervals between the fins. The ducts are inserted into the corresponding through holes of the fins, and are in thermal contact with the tabs. The fins and the ducts are then placed into the frame to form the heat sink assembly.

Heat sink assembly

A mounting bracket () for mounting different types of power supplies () having different configurations of screw holes () to a computer enclosure () includes a body () for being attached to one of the power supplies. A plurality of countersunk portions () is defined in the body to configure such that selected of the through holes correspond to screw holes of the one of the power supplies. An L-shaped latch () is formed on a top portion of the body for suspending on the enclosure. A tab () depends from the body and defines a screw aperture () for engaging with a screw () which extends through the enclosure. A first rolled hook () and a second rolled hook () are formed outwardly from the body for engaging with the enclosure. A plurality of spring fingers () is formed in the body for electrically connecting with the enclosure.

Mounting bracket for power supply

An air guiding device for dissipating heat generated by an electronic component in an enclosure includes a duct (), a guide sleeve () slidably attached to the duct, interengaging means for attaching the guide sleeve to the duct and a filter () accommodated in the duct. The duct defines a recess () therein. The filter is deformably and removably received in the recess. The means includes a plurality of grooves () defined in one of the duct and the guide sleeve and a plurality of protrusions () formed on the other of the duct and the guide sleeve. The protrusions are engaged in selected grooves so that a length of the guide sleeve with respect to the duct can be adjusted.

Air guiding device for electronic components

A computer enclosure includes a cage () and a bracket (). The cage includes a rear panel () having a pair of catches (), a bottom panel () having a bent strip () defining a cutout () therein, and side panel () having a latch bar () and a latch hook (). The bracket includes a top wall () having a fastener () and a second stop (), a pair side walls () having a pair of opposite catches (), and a rear wall frame (). One of the side walls includes a board () and a first stop () at a bottom portion. The bracket sandwiches a power supply () in the cage, with the fastener and the second stop respectively engaging with the latch bar and the latch hook, the board engaging with the bent strip and the first stop engaging in the cutout.

Computer enclosure with power supply bracket

A mounting apparatus for mounting a data storage device () includes a drive bracket (), and a locking device () movably attached to the drive bracket via a screw (). The data storage device forms a pair of studs () at each opposite side plate thereof. The drive bracket includes a first side wall () and a second side wall () respectively defining first and second guiding grooves () thereof. The first side wall defines a locking hole () beside an end of the first guiding groove. The locking device comprises a position slot () for fastening a corresponding stud therein, and a locking tab () engaging in the locking hole of the drive bracket for locking the data storage device in the drive bracket.

Mounting apparatus for data storage device

A mounting apparatus for disk drive devices includes a bracket (), an operation member (), and a pair of rails (). The bracket has a first sidewall () and a second sidewall () each defining a first retaining hole () and a second retaining hole (). The second sidewall has a protrusion (). The operation member is slidably mounted on the second sidewall. A hook () is formed on the operation member corresponding to the protrusion of the bracket. Each rail protrudes two locating posts () corresponding to the first and second retaining holes. In assembly, the operation member is in a holding position in which the locating posts of the rails are retained in the corresponding first and second retaining holes and the hook clasps the protrusion. In disassembly, the operation member is in a released position, and the hook is released from the protrusion.

Mounting apparatus for disk drive devices

A mounting apparatus includes a mounting frame () secured to a chassis () and receiving a data storage device () therein. The data storage device includes a pair of posts () on each of opposite sides thereof. The mounting frame includes a bottom wall () and two sidewalls (). A pair of channels () is defined in the sidewalls respectively for receiving the posts of the data storage device. Each of the channels forms a stop end () and an inwardly projecting resilient member () spacing from the stop end. The resilient member of one of the channels has a slanted portion and a vertical portion. When a corresponding post of the data storage device rides over the slanted portion, the vertical portion stops the post from escaping from the channel. Thus the data storage device is retained in the mounting frame.

A drive bracket () includes a locking device () to secure data storage devices () therein. The drive bracket has a bottom plate (), and first and second side plates (). A plurality of slots () is defined in the side plates. The locking device is attached to the first side plate, and defines openings () corresponding to the slots. Two connecting arms () extend from the locking device in each opening. A handle () extends forwardly and outwardly from the connecting arms. A fastening portion () extends rearward and inwardly from the handle between junctions of the handle and the connecting arms. Pins () of each data storage device slide in the slots, with one leading pin riding over the fastening portion, and restrained by an end of the fastening portion. When the handle is pushed, the fastening portion is moved outwardly, and disengaged from the leading pin.
