A cooking apparatus having heaters and a cooking chamber defined in the cooking apparatus, the heaters are provided in the cooking chamber, and two or more buttons are provided representing different cooking temperatures. A temperature of the cooking chamber is set by pushing one of the two or more buttons. One of a plurality of cooking modes is selected depending on a kind of food, and each of the cooking temperatures is represented by one of the two or more buttons corresponds to each of the cooking modes. Therefore, setting various cooking temperatures depending on the kind of food is possible.

Cooking apparatus having heaters

A cooking apparatus to improve heating efficiency and to quickly cook food. The cooking apparatus includes a heater provided at a tray receiving food to be cooked and having a pair of terminals to supply power to the heater, and a plurality of sockets provided at a rear wall of a cooking cavity. When the tray is placed on a pair of support rails of the cooking cavity and the terminals of the heater are inserted into one of the sockets, the tray is directly heated by the heater to cook the food. The heater includes a conductive film coated on a lower surface of the tray, and first and second electrodes connected to the conductive film to be opposed to each other and connected to the terminals. The conductive film and the tray are heated by current flowing through the conductive film between the first and second electrodes.

Cooking apparatus

A microwave oven includes a cooking cavity defined by a rear wall, sidewalls, an upper wall and a bottom wall, and a cooking tray installed on the bottom wall of the cooking cavity. An upper heater is installed at a position adjacent to the upper wall of the cooking cavity, and one or more middle heaters are rotatably installed on the rear wall at positions between the upper heater and the cooking tray. Upper supports are provided between the upper heater and the one or more middle heaters so as to horizontally protrude from each of the sidewalls, and lower supports are provided between the one or more middle heaters and the cooking tray so as to horizontally protrude from each of the sidewalls, so that food holding members are removably seated on the upper and lower supports.

Microwave oven having heaters for cooking food

A cooking apparatus having a heater is disclosed. The cooking apparatus is operated in a cleaning mode to clean a cooking chamber. When the cleaning mode is selected, the heater is moved to one of various positions to afford a sufficient space to clean the cooking chamber.

A cooking apparatus having heaters having a cooking chamber to be closed by a door. The cooking chamber has heaters which are extended to a first position to heat food. When the door is opened in a state of the heaters being extended to the first position, the heaters are moved to a second position, so that a user can safely take the food out of the microwave oven without risk of a burn injury.

A microwave oven includes a cooking chamber, a magnetron for directing microwaves into the chamber, and an electric heater disposed within the cooking chamber. The heater is mounted for rotation about a horizontal axis so as to be moved between horizontal and vertical orientations. A fan disposed outside the cooking chamber blows air through apertures formed in a wall of the cooking chamber to cause heat within the cooking chamber to be circulated. The heater is of inverted U-shape when vertically oriented and is rotated by an electric motor between the vertical and horizontal positions.
